This is one of the more beautiful resorts I've ever been to! I was there for 2 weeks, so I really got to know the staff pretty well. The housekeeping staff, especially Luz, was so wonderful and friendly and thorough. The ladies at the kid's club, Andrea, Vity, and Ely were so friendly and fun, when they found out it was my birthday, they brought me cake and a balloon just like they do for the kids. And in terms of the service staff at the restaurants and bars, they are top notch. Especially Aaron with his delicious Mexican coffees and fire show, Brendan was an expert at wines and gave great recommendations, and then there was Ricardo, Juan, Victor, Felipe, Tomas and Freddy at the Asian restaurant and poolside service area that were lovely. The Asian restaurant was my favorite, and the adult pool was the best place to lay out where the pool was the best temperature and the hot tub was never too full. I'd also like to thank Antonio with his delicious welcome margaritas, and Maricela, the bartender at the sports bar. I had such a good massage from Brenda that I got another spa service (a lavendar wrap!) because of her service and the beauty of the spa area. Plus the staff at the spa (including Jesus and Fatima) give you champagne afterwards! I can't wait to return!

Whenever I arrive at G.S. Land's End the bellmen; especially Roberto, Manny and Daniel are always extremely helpful, welcoming, and efficient. "La Roca" restaurant is such a pleasure to attend for breakfast and dinner. The food on the plates are beautifully presented and delicious. We were greeted by our Hostess, Kenya, who is delightful. The BEST waiter EVER is Antonio V. and the supervisor, Martina is also exceptional. Antonio presents a show as he makes delicious Mexican Coffee. Such a special treat. I stayed at Land's End but booked my massages at Playa Grande Spa. The Spa facility and staff at Playa Grande are extraordinary. They have a huge steam room with a very cold refreshing pool directly next to the steam room. There is a beautiful and relaxing salt water pool outside. Lupita and Bella, the two massage therapists I had are excellent. I highly recommend them. I also had a manicure and pedicure from Sandra and Milagros at the Beauty Salon at Grand Solmar Land's End. They both do excellent work.

The staff especially greeting us at the front entrance were pleasant , friendly and professional! Roberto handle our stuff exceptionally and Manny is the best! Superb service and very helpful with all all questions and needs!

Great resort and location and even better people. The resort and amenities are well designed and thoughtful and kept in great condition. Our room was always clean and comfortable. The views and location cannot be beat. The restaurants have excellent food and the pools are large, clean and offer great drink and food service. We had excellent service throughout our entire stay from our pool butlers and servers, food and restaurant staff, house cleaning staff and the staff and masseuses at the Spa. Very happy with our stay here.

Our most recent visit to Grand Solmar at Land's End was extra special because we celebrated our daughter's wedding. Immediate family arrived the weekend prior to the wedding, which gave us all a chance to soak in the ambience before the activities began. We were especially grateful to Laura at the front desk for getting our set of rooms close together and having everything just right for our arrival and to Violeta at the hostess desk for making all of our friends and family feel extremely welcome. Manny and the bell staff were, as always, friendly, helpful and efficient despite our additional luggage for the special occasion. The pool butlers Juan and Domingo were excellent: helpful, and proactive, so that we had no concerns and could fully enjoy relaxing by the pool, watching the whales, and sharing the experience of the solar eclipse. We also indulged in a Lands End Spa experience, and are grateful to Gabriella for making it a very special time for the parents of the bride. The wedding itself was perfect. Cynthia and Vanessa took care of every detail, and we were happy to see how Jorge also kept an eye on everything. The venue was spectacular, with whales making an appearance during the late afternoon ceremony. We are grateful for Salvatore and his entire staff for the excellent rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner, including the special accommodation for the children who were present (and thoroughly enjoyed the evening). We especially want to thank Jesus David for ensuring that the mother of the bride's special mocktails were perfect. Our friends and family told us this was one of the best destination weddings they'd attended. We are grateful, but not surprised. Over the years we've been coming to Grand Solmar at Land's End, we've come to regard everyone there as an extended family, and each visit is like coming home. We were delighted to be able to share that with our family and friends, and we look forward to our next (albeit less eventful) visit.
