Wow what a lovely place and location. The staff were great. Pools fantastic. View amazing. Whales visible in the ocean. You can walk to local shopping. We took a taxi home from mega after getting groceries .

We are celebrating our anniversary and couldn't have been happier here. The resort is well kept and beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Our liaison, Shelby was terrific. We had a great time dining at the Sushi Bar. The Manager, Miguel and our server, Alejandro (Alex) were fantastic. Loved the peacefulness throughout the resort. Our suite had commanding ocean view from our wrap around balcony and it was very comfortable and clean. We didn't get the name of our housekeeper; she did a great job. Another plus with the resort was having adults only pools and the gym was awesome.

We are very pleased with the beautiful grounds and the excellent service. Love the delicious cuisine at the Las Brisas. Our servers, Luis Garcia and Claudia Salazar made the entire experience memorable! Friendly, attentive and professional. The oceanfront beach view of our table was icing on the cake. Kudos to the chef and all the staff. Just wonderful!

Grand Solmar is always a top-class resort with beautiful suites, fantastic location, great food and helpful staff. The Fitness Center is an important part of this facility. It is spacious with top-line equipment. Alberto is especially helpful with the facility and also teaches yoga on the beach.

Just returned from our 2nd wonderful vacation at Grand Solmar. My wife and I had a one bedroom with an attached studio for two friends of ours who stayed Sunday through Thursday in building 6. We plan to come back the same time next year as it is between Thanksgiving and Christmas so it's a bit quieter. One of the bartenders told us it was at about 60-70% capacity which is believable. Special cudos and thanks for a fun time organized by Jose Luis (Jay-Lu) in playing blackjack by the pool in theafternoon and then beach volleyball next to Solmar Beach Resort (Team Old Guy held their own against the millennials). We would have spent more time at the Sports Bar but we continue to find the service, especially breakfast, to be painfully slow, much unlike the other restaurants at the resort. We usually ended up walking to the Marinafor a complete breakfast for about $7. We saw whales and manta rays breaching almost every day from either our room or from the pool area.
