Where to begin! We just returned from an amazing week at HE. From the moment we met Blanca at check-in, to Antonio our golf cart driver, Oscar at Los Riscos and Juan at La Pergola... we had a wonderful time. We had 3 rooms for 7 people. The first room was a Presidential suite, a one bedroom 2 bath and an adjoining two queen suite. It was perfect for 5 of us to enjoy this week, ample room to spread out, gorgeous views from the Balcony, we were located above El Eden on Phase 2. Our Mothers day meal was at Los Riscos and Oscar spoiled us so much we booked a reservation to return the next evening. Felippe was his assistant, our drinks were always fun, they had excellent steaks and seafood and you have to try to the crema soup! So velvety! We watched an amazing sunset and cheers'd all evening to friends and family. Our days were spent poolside we loved each pool for different reasons. Phase 2 was close to our room and mostly empty, Encanto pool was too warm for our taste but you can't beat the infinity views. Phase 1 though crowded the sound of the surf makes up for the crowd. Each evening we dined on varied steaks, seafoods and cocktails. Nite 2 was Los Riscos again, Nite 3 El Fiorno, we love the casualness and Ingrid took such great care of us, we laughed all nite long and loved the view near the infinity pool. Nite 4 was El Eden, there were fireworks, trays of tacos, tequila and churros for desert. Nite 5 was Metiszo and seafood with Hugo, please do yourself a favor and request him for dinner, what a funny guy! You cannot beat the views from this restaurant, We ate breakfast here each morning as well. We ended our week around the fire pits at El Fiorno sipping drinks, laughing and eating dessert. We already booked more time at HE after Thanksgiving. Highlights for us are : Gorgeous safe property, Kindest, most accommodating staff, the nicest golf cart drivers, and well kept clean rooms. I highly recommend if you want to decompress, relax and enjoy come to HE.

Having a hard time enjoying my stay at this beautiful resort as the pool temperature is above 97 degree for the 3rd day, the room smells of mildew and there is no reprieve from the hot sun. Don’t know if I will return or sell my timeshare. Waited a year for this trip and can’t swim as there is no beach access and the pools are hot tub hot.

From the moment we got to Hacienda Encantada the service was absolutely unmatched. The guys at the entrance gave us water and showed us to check-in. Javier at check-in explained everything clearly. Our bellman, Efrain (?) was friendly and helpful while getting our bags taken care of. All the restaurant staff was great, particularly Girard at El Patío and Juan de Dios was our guy at La Pergola. We went to the pool every day and by the end of the first day Jusn had our order down pat. He and my husband fist bumped every morning. lol! Housekeeping, Cesar Solis, was incredibly friendly and did a great job, even mopped and cleaned the balcony. Manny the concierge helped us book two outings and we loved them both. He also arranged a driver to take us to Flora Farms and back (the driver waited.) Highly recommend using concierge if you’re wanting to do any kind of outing. We were all inclusive and while the food was good it won’t be the best you’ve ever had. We ate plenty of yummy breakfast at the buffet and grabbed coffee and pastries at their SBUX when we were on the go. Lunches were good and there were a lot of options. We had pizza and salad at their pizza restaurant one night and it was great. We are alcohol free but they whipped up any mocktail we wanted. We loved the chapel on site. And the view from high spots on the property. Couldn’t stop looking up at it and it was a great photo-op. The resort is clean and again, the service is unmatched. The rooms are fine, dated but clean and comfy. All the comforts of home. We had a wonderful time.

Best service, celebrated my 40th Birthday and Jesus Batista made it unforgettable with a beautiful cake and drinks for the table... thank you for a wonderful morning, I'll remember this birthday forever and loved the mananitas, gracias por todo!

We had the same waiter Jesus Bautista at Los Marias for breakfast multiple days in a row & greatly enjoyed the service and food! Every day they offered new foods and the same delicious flavor - not to mention the wonderful view that never disappointed
