About the Hotel

Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

Enjoyed our stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. As others have noted, signing a receipt at the end of each meal or drink is a little tiresome, but I think it’s probably fairly common at most resorts as well. Overall, the grounds are beautiful and service was always very friendly. If you upgrade to an ocean view room, I would recommend making sure it truly has an ocean view as ours had a palm tree blocking most of it. However, the room was very nice and still enjoyable. Definitely make sure you make reservations for dinner in the restaurants in advance by at least a day. Room service was a little difficult to get a hold of one night and we did not have dinner reservations. The resort is quite spread out, but they have golf carts you can have take you to different locations if needed. Have some small bills on you for tips. Getting a seat at the pool was super easy. We kept wondering where everyone was! We found the pool bar food to be quite good. Drinks don’t seem to have much if any alcohol in them but still were tasty.

We had a great experience at Riscos! Glend was an excellent waiter. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His great service made our meal even better. Hotel Encantada the staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.
