Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

It’s a beautiful resort. You can count on getting your exercise because it’s built on hills, although they do have transportation. It’s not a bad thing because the food is very generous. Rooms are beautiful, with exceptional views. They are kept immaculately clean, and although it can at times be noisy, depending on where you are located in the resort, generally quiet by nine or 10 o’clock we bought in with a fractional, hybrid, and the value for the money seems to be excellent. At least so far. Service is top-notch, no matter whether housekeepers, concierge, front desk, or weight staff in the restaurants. They truly do give service with a smile.

Absolutely great experience at this resort-Hacienda Encantada but even more of a great evening at the restaurant- La Trajinera. The food and atmosphere was very high quality. But one of the best parts of it was the waiter, Blend, that made it just an even better experience. Very nice, professional, funny, personal, and all in all made our trip so much better. Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant but most importantly, asking for Blend as a waiter when you come.

Our room was amazing-huge, comfortable and very clean. We could whale watch from our beach chairs all day. The food was excellent by any standard and definitely for an all inclusive. We very much enjoyed our dinner at Los Briscos -try the ribeye for sure. Adrian made our experience at La Trajinera exceptional. The poblano soup and the chicken tinga tostadas are a must try. Their wine list is also quite good. Avoid the adults only pool unless you’re looking for a spring break vibe.

We are and will remain loyal supporters of the beautiful Hacienda Encantada! We were here when it opened and have returned every year to relax and enjoy this wonderful Cabo San Lucas environment. Accommodations are great, the vibe at Hacienda is friendly and relaxed, guests are treated with respect and the staff is top notch. The bonus: we have enjoyed meeting many incredible fellow travelers. But sometimes you have to scratch your head and wonder… Apparently there was an incident whereby an unsecured umbrella lost the fight with a gust of wind. I don’t know the details and I won’t speculate but the end result was to remove the umbrellas at cliff overlooking the beautiful Sea of Cortez. I applaud the instinct to protect guests and employees in the short term but my personal experience shines a light on the dangers of sun exposure. I am hopeful management will find a better way to protect guests from sun exposure and wind gusts and there are many good alternatives. I’m just advocating for those of us who are melanin challenged but are addicted to the wondrous view of Land’s End.
