Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa

The Attico is my favorite bar at Hacienda Encantata.   A big part of that is the waiters and bartenders.  Kevin was always cheerful and prompt, always keeping the party going.  His easy-going manner and ready humor made being there a fun time for all our family.  Since we share a name we became TWINS, our birthday is Dec. 29th even though I may be more than a few years older than him. Isabell was always cheerful and professional. She was great at suggesting the best drinks and was always prompt and ready to keep the party going. Whether working behind the bar or waiting our table you could count on Isabell to give expert service.

We were here with family. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The resort covers over 100 acres of prime real estate between Cabo and San Jose Del Cabo, where the airport is located The symbol for airport is SJD. Suites were large and well-appointed with great furniture and comfortable bedse.The kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need to prepare meals. One of the cool things aabout the Resort is that they provide room cleaning every day, not just once a week. Cecilia was an exceptional maid. The property is first class. The grounds were impeccable. Every piece of greenery was immaculately kept. The flower beds were raked and absolutely no weeds were found anywhere. The golf carts used to transport you around were always available with no more than a 5-7 wait. It was usually less than 2 minutes. The drivers were always cheerful and helpful. You just call from your room and by the time you got to the pickup point in front of your building they were there. We ate at all the restaurants except for the seafood restaurant. Breakfast buffets are at Los Maria's and Mestizo on the roof of the Vista building. Both were excellent. Wide selection of fruits, pastries, complete hot breakfast meats pancakes, waffles, parfaits, omelet station, and much more. Bacon was exceptional (crispy just like we liked it) and plentiful. 😊😊😊 The swimming pools were well maintained. Plenty of seating, including covered seating. Every pool had food and beverage service and a couple had swim up bars. The service at the Vista pool was great. Isobel was a very attentive server and also excellent bartender. In order to get a $90 per day (instead of $130) all inclusive plan and free shuttle service back to airport, we sat through a fractional sales presentation. This may not be for everyone, but it was worth it. I would recommend the all inclusive plan. All drinks, meals, 3 days at the spa, and it also includes meals and drinks at the resort owned restaurants at the Marina in downtown Cabo. Free shuttle service is provided every 2 hours. One additional note. The company that owns the resort also owns Senor Frog's restaurants all over the Caribbean and Mexico, the Marina Vista hotel in Cabo, 4 restaurants in Cabo, and the Marins in both Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. We would highly recommend this for adults and families. High season is October through May. It gets really hot (105-110) from June through September.

Gustavo was an amazing waiter—friendly, attentive, and 10/10 service. Highly recommend! Absolutely! Will be back again

We had a very helpful bell boy named Saul, he was so helpful, generous, and made us feel very special the entire time. My grandparents have been going to the Hacienda Encantada for almost 25 years, and they always say the employees are some of the best in customer service. Every employee we met treated us amazingly, and never complained. We will be back!

We love Hacienda Encantada! We have traveled there many times. The staff is friendly, the views are awesome and the pools are great. We had great service from RAMON and ONE’ at Il Forno. They are very kind and welcoming. At El Patio, look for OSCAR. He will take great care of you. Las Marias has an exceptional Buffet for breakfast. TERESA and VANIA were also very kind and attentive. Also, the sweet lady (I can’t remember her name) that greeted and seated us always had a smile on her face. She was awesome. The rooms haven’t changed much. We stayed in Phase 3 overlooking Il Forno pools. We love the view from there also. The rooms could use a refresh, but they were fine. We not in the room much anyway!! It was and always is a great stay. Hope to return again soon!!
