About the Hotel

Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

A relaxing Cabo stay during a Spring Break week

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The resort was very clean from the villa to the gym, the pools and the restaurants. The restaurants were a pleasant surprise as the food choices and quality far exceeded typical all-inclusive fare. The only buffet we had was breakfast. All other meals were prepared fresh after ordering off the menu. Drink selection was vast with a number of decent 100% agave tequilas to choose from. The staff is geared to friendly and helpful service. Special recognition to Omar and Miguel who made our days at the adult pool extremely pleasant. Also Edson at the Italian restaurant Barolo was attentive and prompt. The only negative was that the elevator in our building was inoperative for the entire five days of our stay, which would have been no bueno for anyone with mobility issues. But the whale sightings the first three days helped to make uo for the elevator inconvenience. All in all, I will recommend Havienda Encantada to friends that are looking for a high quality stay in Los Cabos.

Overall nice place but avoid the sales people who try to sell Fractional Ownership

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The actual resort is very nice, great views and peaceful, the interior are getting tired and dated. Be aware of the sales people who try to sell, they will make promises they don’t keep and then lie. Abraham was our initial contact who lied after the fact about what was promised. Don’t trust them and be aware of very aggressive sales techniques.

Couple stay

This place is amazing! It has the best service and great food. Chef Dani made the best food for us, and Alejandro was the best waiter for the 4 days we were staying! Mistrain was a very helpful manager, directing us in all the right directions!

Dirty, noisy hotel! Poor management

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We rented a villa which was spacious but dirty. There was rust along the shower floors, soap scum all over the glass shower walls and black mold growing in one section. We asked to move rooms and were denied although the resort appeared empty. The food was tasteless and ridiculously expensive. A 4 person lunch with only tacos was $188. The food was bland and small portions. Although we paid in full prior to arrival we had to pay more money upon check out for trash and sewage. But the scariest part was the electrical issues that caused sparking when using a har dryer. It actually blew up my Dyson curling iron. I feel this hotel is unsafe. Ps. The smoke detector in the master was like a strobe light blinking rapid green throughout the night. Extremely disappointed
