Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

Los Riscos is so delicious! Good quality is great and Blend was a great server.

First of all, they never tell you until you are hooked into a deal that there are two types of all-inclusive. Not that the premium one was interesting to me, but the principle still stands. Overall, the food was very good at the Barolo Restaurant, the Pergola Pool restaurant, and Maria's breakfast restaurant. I was utterly disappointed with the Mestizo del Mar, which I had tried in previous years and had been delighted at the time, both for service and food quality: no longer the same. The missing part of the Hacienda is the activity, or lack thereof. By the evening, the place feels like an abandoned town. No one around, other than the restaurants. The views from the Hacienda are fantastic, and no other hotel can claim the same in Cabo. If you don't mind the quietness and the fact that there is no beach at the Resort, it's a great place. Otherwise, think about it...

Spent a week here March 6,2026. By far the best food we ever had at an AI resort in Mexico. The seafood was fresh and the steaks superb. Only disappointment was the chicken Parm. Staff is friendly & helpful. Minor issues; Despite asking about allergies @ every restaurant, our friend was served a dish with a foof she had an allergy to . No beach to speak of. You're not getting to the ocean from the hotel Large, but well laid out resort. Not flat but staff in golf carts are quick, plentiful & easy to access Same lounger issues. People reserve loungers, despite signage, early in the morning and they are unused for hours. 9:00 AM & there were no loungers @ 2 of the 3 pools. One couple had 4 reserved between them until someone complained to staff, which fixed the issue promptly . "Member" sales are there trying to book you for a 90 min breakfast, but 3 or 4 firm no's were sufficient to leave you alone. Everything pretty much shuts down by 10 PM, which was ok by us . Only thing open 24hrs is the Starbucks, which is not part of the AI. Rooftop pool & bar are for members only unless you attend the sales breakfast. Too much signing. Asked 2 or 3 times to sign for food & drinks each time @ the bars. Each receipt is stamped with a "cash only, including tips, resort", but that was obviously not the case . The jetted tub spewed crud and made greasy brown bubbles when used. As a hot tub owner, that's a sign of plumbing that needs cleaning. We liked; Free shuttle to the marina for shopping. They stopped at the sister hotel where you can eat at the restaurants on the marina or have a drink at the pool bar while you wait, all part of the AI. Good view of the whales from the adult beach. Often close, but bring binoculars Jan to Mar . For the best views. Rooms are clean & well maintained . Staff goes over and above. We will be back, and that's saying something for all the resorts we've tried in Mexico.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and felt it was the most authentically Mexican decor. The views were outstanding over the cliffside, but we did miss having a beach to walk on. The staff were all outstanding and by far the best resort food we’ve ever experienced, especially Los Riscos and the Mesquite steakhouse. Disappointed that all the pools and pool Bars & snack patios closed at 4:30 every day. The grounds are massive but there are staff to take you around in golf carts which is helpful for navigating the hills all around the resort. We did not even get to explore the whole resort. We were abit annoyed having to sign a receipt for every food and drink we ordered since we were all inclusive and wearing bands. Not all guests are all inclusive but a band should eliminate the need for signing. You can’t just walk up to a bar or snack bar and order something you have to use a waiter which takes longer and abit of an inconvenience. The free shuttle to go back and forth to downtown marina area was great and we could dine at the sister resort Marina Fiesta right at the marina. Overall a good experience but not our favourite mexico resort or destination.
