Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

As the sun washes over the property’s Spanish Colonial architecture, wake up with a plate of Albaņil-style eggs with salsa and corn tortillas. Walk along the beach and keep an eye out for dolphins cresting the waves. Cleanse the mind and body during a traditional Temazcal ceremony, where water infused with medicinal herbs steams from piping-hot rocks. Sip top-shelf tequila on an open-air patio as the day fades into night.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the only thing I did not like was the spa The massages we took my husband and I were lovely with zenayda and relief I recommend very good :) but days later I took a manicure and pedicure with the lady Ana everything was disgusting, the nail polish off my nails, and all the work I did Made very fast talked a lot and poorly done, very expensive package I asked for, and poorly done. Thank you, delighted, thank you for your work and for the good workers of your hotel who strive to give the best service every day continue to do and my respects for your hotel

From the moment you enter the driveway, you know you are staying somewhere special. The views are phenomenal, the grounds immaculate, and the staff are super friendly. If you are looking for a huge party environment, where you feel like just another drunk tourist, I'd recommend you go stay elsewhere. This hotel is more sophisticated but in a casual way. I would not hesitate in staying here again and definitely would recommend to my best friends.

We just returned from our honeymoon at Hacinda Encantada. It was amazing! Beautiful property, quiet but yet still lively. Very private - we visited downtown Cabo and saw a lot of resorts that were all very close together and busy and not relaxing. The views, the people, and the property itself is what's best about Hacinda Encantada. We have never been to Cabo before this, but if we were to come back, we would stay here again! On the second day there, we were known as Mike and Janelle, the honeymooners, by everyone :) They take time to make sure that you have fun and enjoy your stay from start to finish! The food is also amazing, we ate very well! I would suggest the all-inclusive plan if you are able to do so!

Beautiful resort! Been an owner before they opened the oceanfront units. Taken friends & family & everyone has throughly enjoyed their stay. Always a friendly staff...all staff are always very welcoming! The staff was great with my grandkids at the Phase 2 pool. .

We traded through Interval for a week here. We booked our own round trip transportation through Gray Line ($37/person--they were great). We did not purchase the meal plan as we're not big drinkers and don't eat much meat. We took the time share tour, least pushy we've ever experienced. Overall, the resort is fine. We've traveled to many resorts and I would say that things are not top notch here (think lipstick on a pig), i.e. outlet covers don't cover the hole in the wall, we had some bugs in our room, we had a wake up call at 4:10a in the middle of the week that we did not request (and never went back to sleep!), had to have our room cards re-programmed several times (unfortunate to get to your room and not be able to enter), difficult to lock most every public bathroom door. Pro's: Staff was courteous and friendly. Crashing waves all day and night, so beautiful! Shuttle to town every 2 hrs for $10/person round trip. Away from the bustle of town, but close if you want it. There are golf carts to transport you all the time (we only used it the very first time with luggage), as the property can be quite steep in areas. Car rental onsite. Lots a English TV channels compared to other resorts. Great views. Nice pools. Areas to improve: more vegetarian options at all restaurants, pillows (hard and lumpy), market store has very limited options, no coffee bar (but there is a coffee maker in the room).
