Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

As the sun washes over the property’s Spanish Colonial architecture, wake up with a plate of Albaņil-style eggs with salsa and corn tortillas. Walk along the beach and keep an eye out for dolphins cresting the waves. Cleanse the mind and body during a traditional Temazcal ceremony, where water infused with medicinal herbs steams from piping-hot rocks. Sip top-shelf tequila on an open-air patio as the day fades into night.

I am sad to be writing this review because that only means one vacation is over!! :( BUT it was an amazing stay at the Hacienda Encantada. My bf and I stayed from March 16-23rd and were part of the all-inclusive package. I was in awe and pretty speechless when we pulled up to HE. The resort and views are breathtaking. The ocean just wraps around the entire resort. HE is very clean and well maintained. The staff are beyond helpful and so friendly. We stayed in Phase 1 - room facing the phase 1 pool and the ocean. The ocean was pretty much eye level from our bed. You could hear the waves crashing against the rocks at night; it was total paradise. HE has several restaurants on site. We ate at Los Maria's for breakfast 6 out of the 7 days we were there. The buffet breakfast is not too big and not too small; it was just the right amount of options. Delicious food..period. OH and make sure to try the Mexican Hot Chocolate!!!! We also ate at Los Risco's and Barlono (Italian). Los Risco's is better then the Italian by a far stretch. HE also has a snack bar called El Forno's, that I believe is open until at least until 11 pm daily. It's okay. Very slow service and I found some of the servers gave more attention to other guests more then others . Food is mediocre but will do the job if need a quick bite. One Con: Need the pools to stay open past 8 pm, because it does get pretty quiet and dead at the resort after 8. Or maybe have some activities in the evenings? Also the pool music at Phase 1 could be a bit louder and more up to date. Overall I definitely recommend Hacienda Encantada for your vacation stay. It's a beautiful property and located on the quieter part of Cabo San Lucas. It is very romantic.I cannot wait to return in the future.

My friend and I had a fabulous stay :) it is the people who work here that make your vacation one of the best I've had. They are SO friendly and accommodating you feel as though you've known them forever. From check-in, concierge help, the guys that take you by cart from the lobby to your room, they are all so nice. Thank You Sinder for keeping us entertained with activities and Fernando for being the best bartender in Mexico, you made my drinks & shots to perfection. Big hug to all of you at La Pergola bar/restaurant. The resort is kept very clean, the views are spectacular, the all-inclusive option is the best choice, the food is made fresh & is so yummy! Can't wait to return...

We had a wonderful trip! The hotel is picture perfect with incredible views. The rooms are kept spotless. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Every staff member we met always greeted us with a smile. We were part of the all inclusive package. We had a lot of food choices and could also eat at several restaurants in the marina. The food was always fresh and we never had any issues getting a reservation for supper. It was truely a week in paradise, we can not wait to go back. There are plenty of chairs at the pool, we never had to leave a towel to save a spot. The drinks were always made exactly the way we ordered them. Customer service was great! We had a great vacation at a great hotel!

We had 3 rooms in Phase 2, ground level, the rooms were nicely appointed with a nice lanai-beds were terribly uncomfortable, however. Starting with check-in with Arturo, we were impressed-he was extremely helpful and gave us a warm welcome-in addition, upon check-out, he also took care of us and remembered us and our room numbers! I was impressed-he must see hundreds of vacationers per week! The best service we received was at the Phase 1 pool and The Patio. Cristian, Nery, Renzo, and Sebastian were our favorites and took care of any need we had...we truly wanted for nothing poolside and they provided a very fun and welcoming atmosphere! Our favorite cart driver was Dennis, he was always available to zip us wherever we wanted to go on the property, he took us up to Maria's for breakfast every morning. Best meals we had were definitely at Barolo--the Osso Bucco is a must have, also the fig bruschetta. One suggestion I would make is to offer smaller/lighter fare at the pool restaurants, maybe tapas style, the portions can be very large...and who wants to be that full while at the pool for the day? We opted for the all-inclusive package, and believe me, that was absolutely the way to go!!

We loved the resort! But most importantly it was the people that we met that made it special. Esp the guys that worked there, David and the rest of the guys at the front desk, Manuel Salgado and the other bellman, golf cart drivers, valet parkers. They were great! Always smiling, always friendly, like we had known them forever. We spent our days at the adult pool where Christian Salvador took amazing care of us. Really made us feel special, never had to really ask for anything, he was always one step ahead. And meeting Fernan Antunez was the icing on the cake. WE also met several people who are owners and frequent there every year. They were especially nice. I mean the resort is beautiful, everything you could want on vacation. Beautiful views, just marvalous. But it was the people there that made the difference. We are alrady planning our next trip because of them
