Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

Wonderful 2500 sq ft villa with outstanding ocean views, excellent restaurants, and wonderful service. Last evening we ate at the gourmet Mexican restaurant and were served by Adrian, a truly professional waiter who made our excellent dinners even better.

We recently returned from a family trip to Cabo San Lucas, where our family of five stayed in the Residences at Hacienda Encantada. The grounds of the resort were beautiful and well maintained. The staff at the resort we came into contact with were all friendly and helpful. A few team members stood out in particular and deserve special recognition: Felipe, A cart driver, who always went above and beyond with his helpful and cheerful service. Tania, one of the concierges, who made our dinner reservations & informed us of fun excursions. R. Guadalupe, Kept our residence spotless throughout our stay. Teresa- at the Las Marías breakfast buffet, was always friendly and helpful. We opted for the Premium all-inclusive plan, but unfortunately, we didn't notice any true upgrades in food or drink quality compared to the standard plan. The drinks often tasted watered down, and premium items like Tomahawk steaks weren't available as expected. Overall, we'd rate the food a 2 out of 5—very average at best, especially given the price point. The lunches at the resort were definitely better than the evening meals. On a more concerning note, we experienced an unfortunate incident with our assigned butler, who used our room number to purchase two Starbucks drinks without our permission. Management addressed the issue promptly and resolved it, which we appreciated, but it was still a disappointing breach of trust. To avoid similar surprises, I strongly recommend requesting your final bill the night before checkout and reviewing it carefully—you won't have enough time before you leave. In summary, the Residences themselves are great: spacious, comfortable with a great pool, hot tub, seating area and bbq. However, if food is a priority, we'd suggest skipping the all-inclusive dining package and stocking up on groceries (perhaps from Costco or a nearby market) to prepare your own meals. That way, you can fully enjoy the resort's strengths without the letdown from the food. We'd consider returning for the location, views, and service—but with adjusted expectations around dining.

The food was fantastic at each restaurant we tried, even the breakfast buffet. The staff greeted us everyday, and my mom and I enjoyed having Karina as our server for several days as she always had a smile on her face and was very accommodating. We saw whales from the resort every day.

Beware of the timeshare salesmen especially Fabian! They are relentless, and will hound you every single day you are there. The presentation is deceitful and a they are playing a game of bait and switch! Beware and don't buy a timeshare! Other than that, the property was fabulous! The suites are roomy with excellent bathroom facilities and a dreamy bed. The kitchen was adequate but not what you would expect for a property of that caliber. No dishwasher or oven. The balcony is expansive, with a grill, pludge pool and views. However, we were unable to enjoy it because of ongoing construction pounding all day in front of it.The grounds are beautifully maintained with sweeping views of the rugid coastline. The lounge areas all very inviting. Lots of activities and our concierge Mia provided outstanding service. We also loved the happy hour, sushi bar and excellent service provided at the La Pergola pool by Margarita. She should be your poster child with her warm friendly smile and signature red lipstick. Property overall top notch! I would recommend for a stay. Unfortunately, we left with a bad taste in our mouth because of the ongoing timeshare people. They will take up all your vacation time if you let them.
