Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa

The resort is beautiful. My husband and I came 10 years ago for our honeymoon and decided to visit again for our 10 year anniversary. The first blunder was they put us in a room under construction and with a few of the courtyard even though I had asked multiple times to be in the closest building to the water, which is by the adult pool. They finally switched our room after the front desk girl was very rude upon check in. When we came back to complain, the gentleman at the desk was very nice and accommodating. Julio bartender at the adult pool was incredible. The shuttle to downtown wasn’t the most fun. There’s not much shopping to do outside the mall and the workers of the excursions harass you continuously. The maid service did a great time. We feel the all inclusive was very worth it. Drinks were delicious. The Taco and Tequila restaurant was our favorite. We enjoyed all the meals we had, but one. We paid extra to have a dinner at the Patron’s dinner. The food was completely inedible. The fillet they served us was little gray and we asked for medium cooking style. Everything was so terrible, that we got up and left. This was our 10 year wedding anniversary special dinner. I told the restaurant manager. I spoke with Humberto Millan at the resort, who told me he would look into it. He offered a 40% discount if we wanted to redo the meal, which we had no interest in doing after how bad the first meal was. I never got my money back even after I contact Humberto many times since we left on the 18th of July. He doesn’t answer. I tried calling through the front desk and I always get hung up on. I can’t believe after all the money we spent that this is how they treat their guests. We were going to buy into the property, but after being treated this way, we are staying far away from this resort again. Overall; we had a nice trip, but that Patron’s table on our 10 year anniversary will be something we remember forever - a very special day ruined and no customer service to make the situation resolved.

Extremely Disappointing Treatment by Management Our family stayed at Hacienda Encantada Los Cabos this week, and unfortunately, an interaction with Mr. Gustavo left us extremely disappointed with the way we were treated as guests. Two of our family friends wanted to visit us at the resort. Mr. Gustavo informed us that they would not be allowed to enter the property. What was particularly troubling was not simply the decision itself, but the manner in which he handled the situation. When I asked Mr. Gustavo to provide us with the written resort policy stating that our guests were prohibited from visiting, he refused to provide it. He also told us that if our friends came onto the property again, we would be charged 5,000 pesos. When I asked our friends about this alleged policy, they were completely unaware of any such restriction or of any procedure for obtaining clarification about it. What was most upsetting was Mr. Gustavo’s behavior toward me personally. He raised his voice and spoke to me in an intimidating and disrespectful manner. I found his conduct particularly inappropriate when addressing me as a female guest who was simply asking for clarification about a policy that he claimed existed. His demeanor came across as unnecessarily hostile and, in my experience, deeply disrespectful toward a woman who was asking reasonable questions. We fully understand that a resort has the right to establish and enforce rules regarding visitors. However, those rules should be clearly communicated, consistently applied, and available to guests in writing when requested. Guests should also be treated with courtesy and professionalism, regardless of whether management agrees with them. Mr. Gustavo did not do this at all. This interaction significantly changed our impression of Hacienda Encantada. A beautiful resort cannot make up for being made to feel intimidated and unwelcome by someone representing its management. We have been owners here for seven years. And I am so disappointed. I’m ready to sell all eight weeks that we own. We hope Hacienda Encantada takes this incident seriously and reviews both its visitor policies and the way those policies are communicated and enforced. Most importantly, management should ensure that guests are treated respectfully and professionally when they ask legitimate questions about resort rules.

Location was beautiful - looked out towards the coast and a great view of the city. Loved the servers' vibe and the food was amazing as well. We were there for a bachelorette dinner and Blend & Daniel ensured we had the most VIP experience 😊 Will definitely come back and highly recommend the service & food here!!

Blend is a very friendly, funny, and welcoming waiter along with Daniel, the manager, coming around to every table ensuring that everyone was enjoying themselves. Tender meat and a fresh salad bar.
