Our tour operator Sunwing booked us at ME Cabo for a week but we were disappointed when we arrived that there was a film festival the first three days at the hotel and we could not check in there was an error by the tour Co. However, Jorge at the frontdesk was excellent in staying calm and getting us alternate accommodation for a few days. Additionally, on our return our hostess Karina was excellent in giving us a room upgrade, etc and being very attentive and helpful for the final 4 days of our trip which made the best of a difficult situation and made the trip an eventual success. The resort is beautiful and very quiet except the weekends around the pool when it apparently rocks pretty good, which we unfortunately missed on our check in days.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with welcome drinks and a million smiling faces! Check in was very easy and our package came with a junior suite room, facing the pool & ocean and ad dining and spa credit. It also came with a concierge contact who helped us book everything we wanted to do. Diego was so helpful and was very quick to respond when we texted him! When we got to our room, 5 minutes later they brought a nice welcome bottle of champagne because it was my mom's birthday - how sweet! The service is insanely awesome. We had lunch there which was delicious, I recommend the burger. And the breakfast buffet has everything you could ask for including fresh squeezed juices, omelettes, Mexican cuisine, fruits, yogurts, you name it. The pool was clean an d SO fun! They have a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays and it turns into a really fun party. I came here a year ago for a bachelorette but this was my first time staying there. The cabanas by the pool are pretty inexpensive and so worth it. We used up all our dining credit and spa credit - the spa is super nice! and the gym is small but has everything you need plus nice cold water ;) The rooms are clean and modern and the view is incredible. I would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here many times in the future. Thanks for the awesome trip ME Cabo - we will be back!!

I had a wonderful time at Me Cabo. Everything was perfect. I was worried that my room was not going to be ready before check-in time because over 149 people were checking out. However, when I arrived, I was handed champagne and notified that my room was ready. I checked into my lovely room. 527. It's very spacious. Huge bed, full couch, tv. The only problem I had was with wi-fi, but I did notify the staff and they were on it to find a solution. The pool party was a hit. Remember you can't sit in the front row unless you're doing bottle service even if the beds are empty. I followed that rule all of the weekend and weekdays. Although I noticed some people sitting in the front and not getting evicted. No biggie. The drinks are great. Contado/Contrado and Samuel are great bartenders. If you need to revise a drink, they are easy to work with all of your fuss. I ate at the hotel restaurant the first night I was there. It was empty. Hence the attention was overwhelming. I did not think the restaurant was overpriced. It offered amazing guacamole and salsa. JUICY CHICKEN. Beef was meh. Although there were no dips or sauces (besides A1 offered), the chef did bring out some sort of a balsamic or brown watery sauce for the steak after a request. Took what I could not finish with me. Sort of missed the fact that the room did not have a microwave. Monday - Wednesday - No pool parties :( No guest DJ's. No problem. Now know for next time. Still had a great time. Beach - make sure you check which flag is posted. White flag = jellyfish. Prepare to be attacked and bombarded by vendors. Prepare. Brace yourself. Don't take the chairs outside of the rope. Towels are okay. The volume on the TV controller on MTV goes high as 51. My Birthday was Tuesday. On Sunday night, I came back to the room to find a bottle of champagne (that I later found the hotel sells for $80 USD) and a plate full of chocolate-covered strawberries and chocolate. Mini tear moment of joy. Immediately called the hotel fearing that this may be an additional charge. Found out it's a birthday treat. Thank you! On Monday I ate at Romeo y Julietta. Highly recommend this. See other review. On Tuesday I ate at Sunset Mona Lisa. GO HERE. See other review. I book two breakfasts for my three night stay. Unsure of whether I will be going by myself or not. I enjoyed both breakfasts. Although I found that it was hard to order two full meals. So I got bits and pieces of both. No complaints. The waiter I had on Tuesday was great. His name was The staff went out of their way to make me feel quite special the entire time I was there. Not only did they give me champagne and dessert on my birthday, but they also gave me another dessert the evening of my birthday.

I've visited Cabo at least 30 times over the years. This was my first and last visit to ME Cabo. On the positive side it's truly a great location, with a friendly staff. However, Nothing on any level would suggest or explain what they charge for the mediocre accommodations/rooms. I'll never go back to ME Cabo. I'd rather spend the money at several other locations. Cheers, W.
