Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa

I want to give a loud shout out to two employees who went above and beyond to make our stay so much more enjoyable. The first is Samuel with the Bell Boy service. He was able to help us overcome a technical challenge and get it solved within an hour. I can't say enough for him going the extra mile and delivering. It made a HUGE difference in the quality of our stay. Thank you. Next I want to give a praise report to Usbaldo also in the Bell Boy Service area. He helped us secure some goods that were not immiedately available. He went out of his way to get this done and we really appreciate him putting forth this extra effort to accomodate us. Thank you very much. Thank you to everyone else that always make our stay pleasant and smooth.

We enjoyed our Sunday in the sports bar watching the Indy 500 thanks to Julio accommodating our request. Julio provided superb service, he was professional, kind, and engaging. Definitely, made us want to return! We had the pleasure of being served by him for dinner, the Salmon was delicious! Julio surprised me with a birthday cake to celebrate my special day, which I appreciate.

My husband and I return every year to our "second home" at the Playa Grande. We are always greeted with the warmth and charm of the Mexican people. The resort grounds are safely guarded as well as clean and meticulously manicured! We love the warm colors of the buildings, the tile work and the furnishings that make you feel that you are in Mexico and not some generic resort. We stayed in one of the newly renovated suites and was impressed with most of the changes. Of course the location is great because you get both the Pacific and Marina access and views. We love falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the surf on the Playa side of the resort. Julio and Carlos were fantastic! The stay was great, incredible service, food in the sports bar was very good, and everyone here has been really lovely! Will be back again
