We've been to Playa Grande many times and our visits continue to be more and more enjoyable. On this visit, Miriam and Julio Cesar took excellent care of us poolside with very good food and drinks. The entertainment staff is a pleasure to interact with, especially Aimee and Rodrigo that we know best. For our grandchildren, Maira has always done an amazing job with the Kids Club. The breakfast buffet in the Calima restaurant is excellent with good variety -- it's usually Yoni or Areli that help us with an excellent experience there. The Calima dinner menu has special nights and Jose (Gordo Jose) or Fernando can be sure your experience is perfect. The Brigantine restaurant has a new menu this year that's more steakhouse oriented. However, there are also great seafood and other dishes -- depend upon Jorge for a superb dinner experience. Playa Grande is very family oriented and continues to provide excellent experiences as our family grows !

We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday. Franco at the pool was amazing! Our romantic dinner on the beach was the best. Alberto took great care of us! All staff members are friendly and helpful! The concierge was very helpful.The property is clean and beautiful!

We stayed at the Grand Solmar but our family stayed at the Playa Grande and we actually felt like we missed out. The fun, games and service at Playa was far better. Fernando who served us by the pool at Playa was awesome. Really attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Next time we will stay at the Playa which is far better value for money.

Franco at the pool is just fabulouso!! So attentive and always makes our time here the best! We’ve been coming for years and it’s our favorite! Playa Grande is in the best location….right at lands end. Stunning views, great food, wonderful accommodations and fabulous service! What’s not to like!!!

We just got back home from a trip to Playa Grande (first timers) and it was amazing! The property was beautiful and it wasn't super busy/full, but it wasn't empty, either - it was just right! We went with grandparents in their mid-70s, us in our 40s, and our kids who are 6 and 9. We all spent almost all day every day at/in the pools, of which there are many. We also all had fun participating in some of the daily activities put on by the entertainment team, who were awesome! Eduardo, Rodrigo, Jair, and Aimee on the entertainment team were full of energy, big smiles, and fun activities (Zumba, water aerobics, pool games, Spanish lessons, cornhole tournaments, etc.). We all also really enjoyed the Mexican Fiesta one night and the Beach Party another night. We had a wonderful stay at Playa Grande. Gracias!
