We arrived 4/6/24 to a beautiful resort with exceptional staff & service. It was a surprise to be upgraded to the wonderful Residences behind a gated community of Villas w/private pools, hot tubs, grills, full kitchen, living & dining room space as well as 2 bedrooms & 3 full baths! Estefania, our Butler, & Jasmin, our maid made sure that we were taken care of First class! Stan (Estefania’s nickname) was attentive to all of our wants & needs providing expert care & service. She decorated our unit due to a birthday celebration. It was a surprise & so thoughtful! My sister, a girlfriend, & myself experienced a first class vacation & one in which will be hard to surpass! We have been owners at Hacienda since 2011. We have always had a great time. Our Butlers throughout the years have been fantastic, caring & attentive, We have had Joshua, Yoshue, Giovani, & last year, Guillermo. This year we had Daniel. He was a fantastic Butler, as they all have been. He is very pleasant, responded to all our requests, fixed any problems we had promptly & we look forward to seeing him again next year. We give the Butlers we have had 5 STARS, especially Guillermo & Daniel. Our maid this year, was Eusefia. We can honestly say that she was the best maid we have had in all the years we have been coming. She went above & beyond including wiping off the top of the picture frames, cleaning the rack, pots & pans above the counter, and the tracks of the sliding glass doors. When she left everything was immaculate. We also give her 5 STARS. This year we noticed 2 things that we were very unhappy about. First, the restaurants. The buffets were very overpriced. $75.00 per person at Los Riscos for a buffet, was very overpriced. We walked out when we found out how much it was. Next was the price of the wines. $110.00 for the cheapest wine on the wine list (a mediocre wine) totally unacceptable. We asked if we could bring our own wine & how much the Corkage fee is. They told us $40.00, and we usually pay $25.00 in the US. In the past years, we have always enjoyed dinner at Los Riscos. We always enjoy a bottle of wine with our dinner, so this year we didn't go there. We always enjoyed Barolo's Buffet. This year there was no Buffet there. It used to be around $40.00 per person. Their house wine was also good & both very reasonable. We ended up not going to either restaurant. We went to the Marina & & off-site restaurants, & had very good meals at much more reasonable prices. Also, ate at the Patio Bar.(loved their Governors Shrimp & Shrimp wraps) & Il Forno for the Margarita Pizza, very good, or cooked at our own grill. Both of those restaurants are reasonably priced. Second, the sales staff. Every year they tell us something different. We bought into their PTC contract, which went out of business before we got our benefits from it, We bought into the Yacht club, which the next year was changed. In 2016, we bought into the Walk Away program which in 10 years we would be able to walk away & get cash to turn our contract back in. We found out THIS YEAR that their contract with Walk Away was cancelled in 2019 without any notice to the owners or compensation. We have also been told we had equity & since we have a 3 bedroom penthouse and since there are only 2 of them, that in 2 years they would buy them back from us with the equity we have in it. Also, now we are told that the proposed equity, we could only use if we buy up to their fractional ownership. Also, every year we go, we can't talk to the salesman we had the year before, because he is no longer there, or has transferred to a different department. We enjoy going to Hacienda every year, but we will never attend another sales presentation at Hacienda. HACIENDA WILL NEVER GET ONE MORE PENNY FROM US. BUYER BEWARE! THEY DON'T STAND BY ANYTHING THEY SELL YOU. Other than the restaurant prices & the sales staff, WE REALLY LIKE GOING THERE. Everyone is very friendly, from the cart drivers to the grounds keepers. The grounds are very well kept and maintained it is always a relaxing enjoyable vacation.

Best place to relax and leave the outside world behind! They have it all! Multiple restaurants with a variety of food (unlike other all inclusive resorts), wonderful spa, multiple pools catering to various groups of visitors, sports activities and shows, and luxurious accommodations! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and with Clemente as our butler all we had to do was shoot him a text for literally everything we needed! The entire staff could not have been more amazing! Thank you to everyone! We will be back!

The resort is big, beautiful and well cared for. everyone there is very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the pools and convenie of how everything we need is there. We did go offsite a few times and Guellirmo was very helpful arranging transportation for us. We look forward to coming back again…soon!

Wonderful experience as always. Beautiful and well maintained property. Everyone there makes the experience stress free and is there to make your stay a memorable one. Guillermo went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. He was always available to arrange transportation, make reservations and give us advice on anything we needed. Virginia arrived daily and did a thorough job of keeping us organized. With a 3 year old it helped! The entire resort is a haven to relax and unwind. Location is great and near many fine dining establishments. Lots of food choices on property too. The rooftop gym is fantastic. The resort has something for everyone. The only thing is that kids area needs some work. Updates need to be done. No where for adults to sit and playground equipment needs replaced. Other than that, it’s a wonderful retreat. We will be back!
