The Ridge at Playa Grande

We just spent a week a PG and it was fantastic! I had read a few reviews that had me a tiny bit worried, but they were wrong 100%. The resort is beautiful, and the staff are amazing. The rooms were huge and very clean. We were in the PG proper hotel, and it was very peaceful and quiet. The food was great, and we ate their everyday (even though we felt that we would eat at town) mostly at the Sports Bar. Call out to the staff here. At the Bar: Issca, Ana, Hermando and Martin took great care of us every day. They always asked us if we needed more water (do not get dehydrated) and that was great. The always told us when it was Golden Hour and ensured we knew what was included. At the Pool Hector and a few others, I do not recall their names, but they did the same. When we checked in, we were asked about the breakfast and Presentation for Time Share, and we said no and that was that: they did not hound us which was great. I might buy a week, but I do not need to be pressured so that was great!

Room service was excellent, everyone was very nice! Uriel and Ofelia were amazing and made our stay here a great experience!

We just spent 2 weeks at the playa grande ridge our usual fixed week is in building N but need to move due to construction we owned at the ridge in past and were really not big fans of the ridge. We ended up trading the unit for a grande Solmar unit and thus were somewhat concerned about spending 2 weeks at the ridge instead of our long time lower unit. All concerns were unwarranted and we had a great experience. The staff was awesome and a special shout out to Uriel And Cirilol they were both exceptional. Should see them say hi and if they have your area you will be in good hands

The most welcoming, charming, serene experience. We always return here for the wonderful service and vibes. Our servers take care of us like family, especially Uriel. He’s simply the best and always provides attentive and helpful service like recommendations for top local restaurants, excursions, and clubs. Visited for my birthday and he surprised me with a special dessert and warm wishes. The pools are impeccably clean, gorgeous, and just the right temperature. Even better, they’re adults only. Cannot wait for our next visit to the Ridge at Playa Grande!
