Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Spa

We love this place. Extremely clean. Every worker goes above and beyond to help you in any way. I have to mention, Elizabeth when having breakfast at El Patron or Esquivel our pool server. You couldn't find better service. Except for Juan Carlos at the Sports bar at Villa del Palmar (in the same property connected by a trip in a trolley). We'll be back next year.

Worst trip in 20+ years. We booked 3 rooms: 2 of the one bedroom suites and one two bedroom suite booked through a member. The 2 one bedroom suites are ground level facing the wash but pretty far forward. The first two days on our two bedroom suite was not the elite then we had to switch to an Elite room for days three through eight. The regular room was a pool/ocean view and the elite was on the wash side. When we asked if there was any possible way to change or even take a non-elite level room, they could not help us whatsoever. They offered that possibly on the next day they could move us, but who wants to move room so many times on their vacation. It takes up a day to pack move lose access to your room for three or four hours unpack etc. The manager was absolutely no help. We also have serious issues with our meals. You can no longer reserve for Bella California. The first night we got there at 6:30 PM and we were told we could be seated at 7:40. We did not get a table until after 8 PM. The concierge is awful, for large groups. They have to email the restaurant to find out if they can see a large party. So they basically try to split you up in two groups and it’s a different times. So the second night we ended up at El Patron at two different times. Our 7:45 seating, we did not get out of there until 10:15. Although we are all inclusive, we still look at the bills. The waiter charged us for at least 10 drinks that did not belong to us. It’s awful to come on a family trip that’s been planned a long time only to be met with constant issues and poor customer service. I spoke to the general manager about this issue also and he was not very helpful here either. We are going to seriously reconsider if we ever come out to Villa Del Arco if we cannot get a guarantee room replacement and if this dinner reservation issue is not resolved.

We had the best stay at Villa Del Arco. Our server at the pool was Esquivel and could not have asked for anyone better. For the 3 days we were here he gave us some of the best service I have ever experienced. He constantly was smiling, so happy to be here, incredibly friendly and attentive to us. We felt we were able to make ourselves at home and felt so welcome here. He really made our trip! Thank you villa del arco, but especially Esquivel! We will be back!!

Villa del Arco is our Happy Place! Having spent over 50 weeks in Cabo since 2007, all were at VDA other than 5 weeks at its sister property. The staff and service are top notch: our concierges, Nichole, Fernanda, Francisco, and Ruben, ensure every visit is flawless. They know our preferences and have them noted prior to our arrival—along with restaurant reservations, spa appointments with our favorite massage therapist, Joni, at the Desert Spa, or car rentals for our trip to Flora Farms. The smaller size of Arco and its proximity to downtown also matter to us bc Cabo is a culinary delight with fabulous restauranteurs from around the world. We are always sad to leave and eager to return!

Very enjoyable trip with good friends. Had a great time, and staff was friendly and helpful. Bellboy Mariano left us with a good exiting vibe.
