Adorned with contemporary design and tropical overtones, Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Spa is a deluxe Mexico retreat with an envious beachfront locale. The residential-style villa suites, which offer studio spaces or multi-bedroom adobes, feature convenient kitchens, sleek marble floors, warm wood tones and garden view or ocean-facing balconies. The property, laced with leafy palms and resonating with the sound of trickling fountains and waterfalls, is a peaceful oasis for the entire family. Allow the concierge to anticipate your pre-arrival needs by stocking the pantry with all of your favorites, or arranging for the chef to prepare an in-suite meal as part of a special celebration.

Our family of four (ages 53, 52, 22, and 20) had an amazing stay at Villa del Arco in Cabo. We would easily give the resort an A. The property is exceptionally clean — the kind of clean where you can walk barefoot all day and your feet stay spotless. Our studio suite didn’t have much of a view, but we weren’t in the room often, so it didn’t matter. The pool area is spectacular, with beautiful ocean views and cruise ships drifting by throughout the day. We didn’t mind them at all; they actually added some charm. The staff truly made our stay special. At the pool, Edwing, Jesus, and Ramon were consistently friendly, efficient, and always smiling. Breakfast at El Patrón became a daily highlight thanks to Emmanuel, who was so warm and attentive that we specifically requested his section after the second day. Jose Luis checked in on us regularly, and Armando from room service was so kind that we ended up hugging him goodbye after a quick visit. The food ranged from average to good. We tried every restaurant except Neptune and Tomatillos. Nothing was extraordinary, but everything was enjoyable. The location of the resort is fantastic — a beautiful swimmable beach right out front and the city close by, giving us the best of both worlds. We would absolutely recommend Villa del Arco. The only thing we might skip next time is the all‑inclusive option, but the resort itself was wonderful.

Our big family loved our experience at Villa del Arco! Our server by the pool Eduardo made sure we always had fresh drinks and ice, and even helped us drink the rainbow! At the breakfast buffet we had Elizabeth as our Waitress and she remembered our drink orders and was amazing! Our family loved the shows at the sister hotel and went almost every night. Great experience and great people!

Outstanding, detail oriented and friendliest service throughout the del Arco resort. We look forward to starting our day with breakfast served by the incredible staff at El Patron: Gloria, Immanuel, Flavio, Elisabeth, Carmen. The pool servers, Javier and Freddy, are equally as incredible and accommodating. The food is delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients at each of the restaurants but the dinners at Neptune are our favorite! You are greeted by the beautiful and talented hostess, Escarlet, who instantly makes you feel welcomed and taken care of throughout your dinner. The manager and servers (Eddy) also take great pride at making sure your dining experience is enjoyable.

The review is in two parts. One very good and one not. The resort is lovely. Well maintained with excellent rooms and suites. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were very good. BUT … When you check in a 10,000 peso charge is mad against your credit card for expenses during the stay. You are told that the charge is a “hold” only, and when you leave any charges will be debited against the originally held charge and you will receive the remainder credited back to your credit card. Something went wrong … Visa paid 10,818 pesos to the resort two days after we checked in. First problem my receipt shows 10,000 pesos not 10,818. Already overcharged by 818 pesos vs. my receipt. When I checked out my bill was 5,200 pesos which was also paid by Visa to the resort. I only realized that both were paid when I got my bill a month later. All communications with the hotel were deflected by “you will get the credit - it just takes a few days”. I asked for them to check their accounting department, which they would not do. I was finally ghosted by customer service and a detailed letter to the hotel manager was ignored. Thus, I am out about $575. Visa will not reverse the charge since they say the hotel says it was a legitimate charge. Please, please check your credit card statements while still at the resort to ensure this doesn’t happen to you.

I have been coming to Villa del Arco for many years. The staff is always very helpful and cheerful especially the bell-boy Mariano who I have relied on often for years. All the restaurants are excellent and we find that we enjoy the all-inclusive as opposed to dining out on most nights. The concierges are also very responsive, especially with dinner recommendations and reservations.
