Beautiful and romantic getaway….. great atmosphere and amazing food. The pools are beautiful with the view of the ocean

We have been members for 25 years and we absolutely love this place. The staff is great, particularly Mariano at the bell desk, the grounds are beautiful, the access to the beach is easy and the setting couldn’t be better. Usually it is a 5 star experience. Not this time. We traveled there with our two year grandson and other family members. We were given a ground level two bedroom suite with a direct view of the Taco Bar. The noise, smell and total lack of privacy was unacceptable. Of course we requested a room change and were given one option, a second floor room facing the Taco Bar. We declined and eventually paid an extra $1000 for a penthouse suite just to avoid arguing with the registration staff. We moved to the new location and it was terrific. Unfortunately upon entry we discovered the dishwasher was leaking and there was a huge puddle of water on the floor. This should have been caught before moving us to the new room. After that we discovered the microwave didn’t work. Both issues were rectified but clearly this wasn’t going to be the kind of experience we were accustomed to. The staff did reach out and offered some amends which we appreciated. Stuff happens. However, after getting the worst suite in the entire resort and paying to solve the problem and still encountering additional issues it was just too much. We still love this place. The staff is terrific. The location is great. Arco, you get a do over next year. Be better.

My spouse and I spent Oct. 13th to Oct. 23rd 2025. We were extended access for our all inclusive to Villla del Arco because Villa del Palmar was under renovations. Several individuals made a great impression on us. Emmanuel and Ramos @ the Buckner both provided us excellent service. At El Patrona Flavio was great as well. On our last evening Bernable Lorenzo @ Southwest Grill was attentive and provided excellent service. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. We look forward to our next vist and see you all again. 🤗🙌😎🌅

Just returned from another fantastic trip to Villa Del Arco can't wait to return! From the minute you arrive, always pleasantly greeted by MARIANO and team, the check in process is smooth and efficient. Property is in great shape, well maintained and orderly. Morning buffet is a perfect way to start the day with exceptional service by EMMANUEL. Spa, beach, pool and restaurants were used and enjoyed by the family. A shout out to my concierge team, NICHOLE, FERNANDA, FRANCISCO & RUBEN who attended to all our needs for reservations, information and overall updates during our stay including arranging a delightful chocolate cake to for my wife's birthday.

Close to town and everyone friendly and always helpful . Emmanuel and Diego were wonderful at El Bucanero, very easy to order and talk to with no problems.
