Very clean resort , the staff here is so friendly and attentive. Ramon and Lugo were are waiters at the pool and they are just so kind and amazing! Thank you Roman and Lugo you guys rock !!! Because of you we had a great day and enjoyed our drinks and food !!

Ramon Lugo took care of my friends and I at the pool and was always there for us. He was responsive quick and attentive. We never had to wonder where he was. I would sit in his section all the time.his customer service skills were second to none!!

This was our first stay at Villa Del Arco. We enjoyed this hotel and the staff. We came to rest and unplug and the vibe here was just what we needed. The food here was excellent and the service to match. I wanted to take the time to mention each staff member that made our stay more pleasurable. Emmanuel who waited on us everyday at the pool. He was awesome. When he was away, Ignacio and Eduardo would make sure we were taken care of. In the mornings we dined at El Patron where Gloria greeted us everyday with a smile. Our servers were Mario, Elizabeth and Carmen who were always on top of our coffee refills and making sure our mornings were enjoyable. I cannot leave out the amazing omelette maker Angelica. Her morning energy is contagious. Most nights we dined at El Patron because the service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and Adrian the manager always stops by to say hello and see how you are enjoying yourself. One night Chef Rey came out to say hello and it was a pleasure to compliment his culinary skills. Our server most nights was Marino, he always had a laugh to share and made great recommendations. I do not want to leave out and I hope I get his name right Luchio, even if he did not wait on us he would stop by to say hello.l and share a story of the day. I would also like to compliment Edith who took care of our room. She did a wonderful job. We highly recommend staying at the Villa Del Arco. Their staff really added to our stay here and that really makes a difference for us. We have been coming to Cabo for many years and we will be back.

We stay at VDA every year for a couple of weeks. The resort is in a perfect location and is well maintained. The beds are comfortable, the linens and towels are wonderful. The view is exquisite. This year the pool temp was perfect as well. But what makes this place so special is the staff! When you pull up at the front entrance Mariano (our favorite bellman) greets us by name and makes feel we’re home! The Elite concierge staff are top notch! Fernanda, Nichole, Rubin and Francisco are just wow! Even before arrival I received an email checking on special requests and welcoming us. Fernanda has a special place in our hearts. She has been at the desk from the beginning and has never disappointed. Nichole also is warm, welcoming and efficient! Francisco and Rubin are new this year to VDA and a fantastic addition to the team! They all make us feel like a part of the family! Carolina who is also part of the welcoming committee is always pleasant. Her smile lights up the day! Maria at the lobby bar is definitely a bright spot. We love it when she is there. All of the pool waiters work tirelessly to be sure you have everything you want, but our favorite was Gilder. In addition to doing his job very well, he did it with the best sense of humor and joie de vivre! The main girl at the towel stand was very pleasant. We didn’t see her every day because we saved our towels to reuse unless they were wet, but she was wonderful! I can’t forget the housekeeping staff! Our room was always spotless and the housekeepers were so pleasant! Most evenings we ended our night at the Patron bar. There were two favorites there who were so much fun! Jorge and Teo were perfect for their jobs. We loved coming in and seeing their welcoming grins. They always made our visit memorable. Having the stools back at the bar is fabulous! And the restaurant redesign is fantastic! We have been Villagroup members for a long time. The first time we came to Cabo was before VDA was built (we stayed at VDP Cabo and the other passengers on our bus commented how nice it was to be home. I wondered why someone would want to come to the same place every year when there are so many places to see in the world. Well, I found out. Coming home to the most beautiful place surrounded by wonderful and caring friends is truly a gift like no other! I would like to ask that my review be shared especially with the staff I mentioned. You have such wonderful and caring coworkers at Villa Del Arco and they need to know what a difference they make! Thank you!

My wife and I have timeshare here and have been visiting for 20 years. A key goal of our trip is relaxation. A cold drink and a good book by the pool. Unfortunately it is a challenge to concentrate on text while being subjected to dance club techno while trying to read. After lunch, a monotonous drone of throbbing club music is featured on the house sound system. The kick drum beat never varies. Thump thump thump. It's accompanied by waves of jagged synths and a man or woman who will sing or speak a repetitive phrase. Unable to stand it any longer, my wife went to the desk. The staffer asked her if it was too loud. The volume is not the issue. We are not there for a nightclub experience at any volume. Though they may direct you to the "quiet pool" closest to the lobby, sound does not respect boundaries and you'll hear it there too. Even on my balcony it was present. thump thump thump. Like a toothache. In the morning they played pleasant acoustic guitar music by the pool. I much preferred that though I'd be ok with silence too. If you don't like electronic dance music, too bad. No one on staff will turn it off. You just have to take it and like it. I strongly recommend you invest in noise canceling headphones so you can opt out. I completely understand why the hotel prohibits guests from bringing bluetooth speakers to the pool. The guests next to me may not embrace my musical choices. I wish the hotel would follow the same rule they impose on guests. One more thing. Since we were there last year, lights have been installed in the bedroom ceiling with no switch for you to turn them off. They are dim, but they are on all night. I wanted to cover them but the ceiling is too high to reach from on top of a chair. So bring an eye mask too.
