We had a wonderful day exploring Cairo’s churches, the palace and the city with our driver, Obama, arranged through the Fairmont concierge. Obama was much more than a driver — knowledgeable, informative and extremely helpful. His guidance was excellent, and he even took some fantastic photos of us along the way. His name gave us plenty to smile about, and we soon affectionately called him “President Obama”! 😊 Warm, patient and attentive throughout, he made our day particularly enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

Fairmont Nile City Cairo – An Exceptional Cairo Experience Stays: 4–5 September 2026 and 15–16 September 2026 Room: Upgraded Suite, 12th Floor My recent stays at Fairmont Nile City Cairo were exceptional, and I am delighted to share this review following two stays in September 2026. This was, in fact, my third stay at the hotel, having previously stayed at Fairmont Nile City with a group on an earlier visit to Egypt. However, my two most recent stays — from 4–5 September and again from 15–16 September — were particularly memorable and demonstrated the very best of Fairmont hospitality. A Warm Welcome & Exceptional Suite From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and recognised as a loyal Accor guest. The recognition of my loyalty was particularly appreciated. On both occasions, the hotel upgraded me to one of its finest suites, located on the 12th floor, with truly spectacular views across the Nile. The suite itself was beautifully appointed, spacious and elegant, but it was the panoramic Nile views that made it so special. Waking up and looking out over the river was a wonderful reminder that I was in Cairo — and the setting could hardly have been more impressive. The thoughtful in-room welcome was another lovely touch, from the beautiful flowers and chocolates to the generous provision of bottled water. These details may appear small, but they make a significant difference and demonstrate genuine attention to the guest experience. Consistently Exceptional Service What impressed me most was the consistency of the service across the entire property. From the reception and front office team through to the restaurants, housekeeping and in-room dining, every interaction was warm, professional and efficient. There was a genuine sense that the team cared about delivering a memorable stay rather than simply completing a service transaction. The food and restaurant experiences were equally impressive, with excellent quality, presentation and service throughout my stays. A Hotel I Truly Experienced I also had the opportunity to experience a wide range of the hotel’s facilities and services during these stays. I used the housekeeping service, in-room dining, spa and salon, as well as the hotel’s restaurants and other guest services. Having experienced so many different touchpoints, I can confidently say that the high standard was maintained across the board. Every single department delivered a five-star experience. That level of consistency is not easy to achieve in a large city hotel, and it is one of the things that distinguishes an exceptional property from a merely good one. Recognition Matters As a loyal Accor guest, I particularly appreciated the fact that my loyalty was recognised and translated into a genuinely meaningful experience. The upgrades on both occasions were incredibly generous, and being given one of the hotel’s finest suites with such extraordinary Nile views made the stays feel truly special. For me, luxury hospitality is not simply about the room or the facilities. It is about how a guest feels throughout the entire journey — welcomed, recognised, cared for and valued. Fairmont Nile City achieved this beautifully. My Overall Experience After three stays at Fairmont Nile City, my most recent two visits have undoubtedly reinforced my appreciation for this wonderful Cairo property. The combination of its spectacular Nile setting, beautifully appointed accommodation, exceptional food and beverage, outstanding facilities and — most importantly — genuinely warm and professional service makes it a hotel I would be very happy to return to. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire Fairmont Nile City team for making both stays so memorable. I unfortunately do not have all the individual names of the wonderful team members with me at the moment, but I will be sending a separate note to the hotel to personally acknowledge those who went above and beyond during my stays.
