Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection

Our time at the Bathhouse at Solage in Calistoga was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, but it’s the team that truly elevates the experience. We were lucky enough to have the Assistant GM, Matthew, personally give us a tour of the property upon arrival. His pride in the resort really shines through. At the spa, Nick and his Bathhouse staff were spectacular, ensuring every detail was taken care of during our visit. We loved the spa / pool rotations they recommended, and really enjoyed the cocktails at our cabana between sets. Highly recommend spending as much time here as you're able while in Calistoga!

After a midweek meeting in downtown Napa, my wife and I spent two nights at the Solage. This was our fifth trip to Napa Valley, but our first time visiting Calistoga and the Solage. Overall, a good stay. Among the hits . . . --Beautiful setting that never felt overcrowded --Outstanding food at Solbar (squid ink pasta, sake marinated black cod, rockfish) and Picobar (tacos al pastor, Sol originale and, particularly, the ahi tuna tostada) --Fantastic service from Lesly (Picobar) and Jessnia (pool) Among the misses . . . --Waking up to hundreds of ants in our room the first morning, apparently attracted by the welcome box of macarons --Being charged for what was presented as two congratulatory wedding anniversary glasses of sparkling wine at Solbar --At times, nonchalant front desk service A final thought . . . Solage clearly views itself as a luxury wine country oasis geared primarily toward adults visiting nearby vineyards who are seeking top-notch spa and dining experiences. Perhaps our stay coincided with a final getaway weekend before school starts, but there were a number of families with small children (ages 4-7) who were frequently screeching and crying at the main pool throughout the day. I even observed some small children at the geothermal pools. Given the price point, adult-only guests may want to consider if the Solage will be able to provide the relaxing, luxury oasis-type experience you may be seeking.

We had such a wonderful experience at Solage resort. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed with a private patio. The staff was so kind and attentive. The cabana at the bathhouse was wonderful with all the pools. Jose, the attendant there was excellent as was Dylan who took great care of us and Samantha at the front desk that was extremely accommodating. Solbar restaurant was excellent as was the Picobar by the main pool. Had a little engineering issue with our TV and they were all over it to make sure we had everything we needed to make it work. would most definitely stay there again.

Super spacious room, exceptional service, great food. Anything you could wish for. Love the mineral pools and the lap pool
