Worst hotel experience in recent memory. Tiny room. Dirty and unsanitary. Toilet kept noisily refilling all night long. Staff on check out were rude. No valet on check out. Poor, overpriced and taking the ….

I'd give this hotel a zero if I could. Checked in and checked out within one hour. I checked in, got my key card, was given instructions to park my car in the garage (boiler room) in the creepy basement. Access to the garage was a two level spiral entrance underneath the hotel that was barely 12-24" wider than my small vehicle. My vehicle's collision warning system was screaming the entire way down, I had to put the car in reverse and forward a few times to make it around the narrow bends. The basement garage was more like a small empty boiler room with 3 or 4 spaces and very hot. I was already having a panic attack from that. I took the little elevator up to the room, which was equally disturbing. The smell of mildew was overwhelming throughout the entire hotel, the (white) carpets, while perhaps had been vacuumed, were filthy with numerous large dirty spill stains everywhere. The corner of the room had a single cushioned chair, behind which the wall had about 24" of plaster gouged out horizontally. I can only imagine how that occurred. I shared my dismay with the desk clerk. She showed me to another room which wasn't much better. With a lot of aggravation, I secured a room in another Cambridge hotel and had to muster up the courage to again navigate the spiral garage ent/exit. Once I checked into the other hotel, I was left with 15 minutes to change my sweat soaked clothes, freshen up, and I arrived at the scheduled event 3 minutes prior to it starting. Everyone was upset with me, I was expected there 40 minutes in advance of the event. I really have no idea how Veritas secured over 600 4-5 star reviews. I always trusted Trip Advisor for accurate hotel reviews, and have selected several nice hotels and restaurants based on these reviews. This was a bummer experience.

Everything at Hotel Veritas is WONDERFUL!!! Ryan makes my stay great each time I come here (I've now been four times!). He is awesome!!!! Rooms are well-kept and reasonably priced, and the location can't be beat. Maritza was also very helpful last time I came. Highly recommend this hotel :)

Sheets had some weird dirty marks on them and there was loud noise until midnight from street level if you're on the first floor. Wifi didn't work and the man working at the front desk was extremely unhelpful. One of the employees working at the front desk, Michelle, tried her best to help with the wifi issue but ultimately couldn't do anything either. Steer clear of here.

We loved the Hotel Veritas! Aside from its phenomenal location, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Best of all (for us), the complimentary chilled bottled water was the perfect pick-me-up as we left to explore or came back after long walks. The complimentary valet parking was also stressless and unexpected. We had a wonderful stay!
