Go somewhere else
I came here expecting a decent experience with friends and family, but this place is an absolute disaster. Calling it “upper” anything is laughable—it’s run-down, neglected, and in desperate need of a complete overhaul. The problems are everywhere. The pool lighting is broken, our toilet seat was literally broken on arrival, the tile floors are chipped and falling apart, and both the tub and sink were clogged. It feels like basic maintenance has been ignored for years. This isn’t wear and tear—it’s pure neglect. To make matters worse, they don’t even bother turning on the hot tub, despite the weather being perfect for it. It’s just another example of how little they care about the guest experience. The dining situation is just as bad. Restaurant reservations are nearly impossible to get unless you’re willing to eat at 9 PM or later—which is completely impractical for families with kids. It’s frustrating and poorly managed. And don’t expect any entertainment or activities—there’s nothing to do. No games, no events, no effort to create any kind of enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, this place feels tired, poorly maintained, and badly managed. Save yourself the disappointment and stay somewhere else. The only good thing is the workers. They are super sweet and helpful but probably overwhelmed because the hotel allows for more people than they can sustain.

Our Wedding and Stay Was Magical
The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is not just vacation spot and marriage venue, its magical! We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with amazing service and excellent amenities for all - especially the kids. Brenda Flores was our personal wedding coordinator and she was simply phenomenal and made our wedding dreams come true. We will definitly be back and we are forever grateful!

This hotel is luxurious and beautiful! The staff was always gracious and helpful and encouraged my attempts at speaking Spanish! :) The fresh flowers were lovely, the pool was marvelous, and the food for our conference was scrumptious!

Loved the hotel, our stay was wonderful! Everyone did an excellent job. The food was phenomenal. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. The staff was so nice and helpful. Thank you for a great, amazing stay. I have already recommended the resort to all my friends and coworkers! We will be back!
