Some restaurants were closed, construction noise outside our room, kids club pool area closed. When I went to express my frustration they told me I should have complained sooner. Room service was out of pasta for my kids Mac and cheese. I planed a trip based off the kids club and it is closed. They are hosting it in alternate spaces that don’t feel safe. They did not tell us the kids club would not be as posted on the website. Restaurants on the website that say they are open would be randomly closed. Water leaking in the hallways when it rains and pools are covered by shade well before sunset.

This may be our 6th time in Grand Fiesta Coral Beach since May 2022. Once we stumbled by this resort it has been our go to, I’ll tell you why. Everyone is welcoming and makes you feel warm inside. Check in was a breeze and I believe it was Carlos or Diego if not forgive me if I’m wrong who checked us in. After an early travel with the kids it was a surprise our room was ready since we arrived early and I appreciated that. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Housekeeping does a great job in keeping up with the rooms and around the hotel. The actual kids club was closed due to remodeling. They have activities throughout the day the kids can join and stay. Even though it wasn’t at the kids club my 4 and 6 year old had a great time. All the ladies were great and welcomed my kids every day with a smile. Even when they were just watching a movie they prefer to watch it at the kids club than the room. In my little boys words “I am a sad boy because we left Cancun (kids club)” on our way back they talked all about the kids club and the fun time they had. Their favorite was making pizza and arts and craft. Dinning was phenomenal per usual. Never disappoints. You are expected to do your restaurants reservations at time of check in. Some restaurants were not available but I believe Ana helped us get a reservation at the steakhouse at a decent time we could enjoy before the kids were tucked into bed. I wished I knew some restaurants were closed so I could have planned better, if you are traveling soon just look into what you desire to see if that restaurant is open (you may need to call). We like to go to La Joya and Nah Kaax and those particular were closed for remodeling. Previous time you get to enjoy Mariachis with your dinning (that’s always beautiful) I definitely recommend La Joya. Previous years they would have a person playing the saxophone at breakfast at vina Del Mar and isla contoy. Things change but that was always enjoyable to start your day with such beautiful music playing while having breakfast. With that being said their newest restaurants (not so new) are still 10/10. Compared to other resorts Grand Fiesta exceeds with food and experience. This time we dined at the buffet few times for the kids. You will always find kids favorites here and different types of cuisines. I Was shock to see some Indian dishes which we enjoy at home and so was the case here too. Steakhouse environment had tango which went well with the theme. Is always great to see some staffs from previous visits and Santos in one who has been here for some time and we enjoy his service and his coworkers at the steakhouse. We normally don’t partake in hibachi since we do at home and like to have new experiences. With this I am not a sushi person but when at Grand fiesta I always try to stop by for some. All the sushi has been outstanding my favorite is their salmon and a crispy one, yum. My husband those enjoy a good sushi and home and was impress with the quality here. Italian as well is great my kids enjoyed their pizza as my husband and I enjoyed our dish. I love the atmosphere at the Italian restaurant in times they have live music. Room service was used once since the buffet was closed for lunch. We enjoyed a club sandwich and pizza once again everything was delicious. I have ordered breakfast previous times and it never disappoints. Pool service and food has always been impressive. Since 2022 their fish and chips and spaghettis are my family’s favorite. Don’t forget the coconut ice cream. I didn’t get his name but our first time at the pool our server was so nice. Yet again Alex, Jose Luis and the other staff at the pool were great too. We did lunch at Isla Contoy as well and it’s a beautiful scenery with the ocean and light house at view. Carlos made lunch go so smooth even when they were busy. Here we enjoyed fish tacos. Grand Fiesta is for all nations and cuisines they done a great job with it all without compromising flavors. We enjoy all their Mexican dishes from their salsas at breakfast to their soups and tacos at dinner. Shout out to the women making the fresh tortillas, tostadas sopes etc. throughout the day. We see you. Last but not least the Mexican Fiestas is one you don’t want to miss. You get the Mexican experience from the taste of Mexico to fun entertainment. They started with the kids doing a piñata (let’s give an applause to the staff who work with kids) they did great in making sure everyone got a turn before pouring out the candy. Then came a parade, face painting music etc finish off with churros. Samuel was our waiter at another restaurant and so when he saw me he immediately knew my drink order…… mineral water lol. That was sweet of him. This is only done on Mondays. If you’ll like to experience their fiesta plan accordingly. I failed to make sure I had a reservation and señor Jorge and another staff worked their magic to help me get one. If none is available arrive early to do walk in. I’ll add Andres at breakfast on day of arrival was great to see again. Staff members like him and plenty of others like the hostess are always nice to see again. They have Nanny service which I have used in the past and would use again in the future if needed. This time this momma needed to reconnect with her two older kids and baby stayed home with grandma. Grand Fiesta allowed me to do just that. To leave worries aside and focus what matters most, family time and making memories.

This hotel is luxurious and beautiful! The staff was always gracious and helpful and encouraged my attempts at speaking Spanish! :) The fresh flowers were lovely, the pool was marvelous, and the food for our conference was scrumptious!
