Amazing experience!
Best time at this resort! Highlight was definitely La Jolla restaurant and the AMAZING mariachi band. What a special and authentic experience!

Really surprised me!
Had just been in Valladolid for a few days and must say wasn’t particularly looking forward to staying in an AI in Cancun over New Years Eve. Not quite my cup of tea. Have to say I was incredibly impressed. Went with another family and our two kids (15 and 12) and we all had a ball. Everything was incredibly well organised with phenomenal hotel staff attending to your every need. Check in was quick despite it being NYE and restaurant bookings were easy. Staff constantly coming up to loungers to check on you and ask if you wanted drinks, food etc. Interconnecting room suite was great - really spacious and comfy and everyone worked perfectly. Slightly older style of furnishing but all very pleasant. Beach was lovely and clean with gorgeous water and kids loved the giant raft. Pools were huge. NYE party (where there was a bit of confusion as to what we could go to without tickets) ended up being great fun with music, free-flowing drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Japanese teppanyaki restaurant was brilliant. Top class food and really fun show that we all loved. Rest of the restaurants maybe a little bit more ‘meh’. Italian was very average and the fish restaurant was fine but nothing special. Would be really picking at straws though to complain. Everything was genuinely much better than expected and service was much better than at the Fairmont Mayakoba that we went to afterwards. Great 3 night stay, thanks all!

We love the band in La Hoya!!! The service is great and all of the people are so friendly! We’ve made so many friends talking to people and connecting through this Resort

Our hibachi chef Edgar was outstanding. He brought amazing energy, interacted with everyone at the table, and kept the entire crowd entertained. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it made the experience memorable. Highly recommend sitting at his table.

This hotel is luxurious and beautiful! The staff was always gracious and helpful and encouraged my attempts at speaking Spanish! :) The fresh flowers were lovely, the pool was marvelous, and the food for our conference was scrumptious!

Loved the hotel, our stay was wonderful! Everyone did an excellent job. The food was phenomenal. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. The staff was so nice and helpful. Thank you for a great, amazing stay. I have already recommended the resort to all my friends and coworkers! We will be back!
