Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach

This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and we had an amazing stay at GFA Coral Beach. Location: The location is conveniently located just a 25 min drive from the Cancun airport. We booked through Costco and found the transportation arrangements very straightforward. We didn't leave the resort during this stay, but we saw many lively shops and restaurants close by. Room: Although the hotel is an older one, it is very well maintained. Room temperature is adjustable, and the AC is great. The TV has movie channels, news, local cable, and sports. Sound proofing was good! If we had neighbors it was hard to tell. Beach/Pool: It fronts on a beautiful beach with bright turquoise water that we found to be very swimmable (some windier days made for slightly larger waves, but we were still able to enjoy the water). We saw very little seaweed/sargassum wash up on the beach. The outdoor pools are heated to a comfortable temperature. Swim-up bars, games, and music throughout the day to enjoy. There are adult-only areas too. Food: We didn't have the highest expectations for all-inclusive food but we were blown away by the quality and variety of food offered at GFA. The buffet has a different rotation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurants we tried (beachside Mexican fusion, fancier Mexican dining, Italian, and Hibachi) were excellent and most had their own evening entertainment (Carlos at Chianti plays beautiful violin). There is also a cafe inside the resort with coffee, pastries, and delicious gelato throughout the day. Gummer makes delicious Mayan coffee there! Entertainment/other: The fitness centre is a must-visit for the variety of equipment, and gorgeous views of the ocean. We also enjoyed nightly events/performances (magic show, acrobatics show, concerts, adults-only club). Staff: We met some of the kindest people during our stay at GFA. One of the things we will miss most is the amazing staff who made us feel so welcomed every day (Carlos at Isla Contoy restaurant was so great and gave us excellent tips for visiting Cancun). We did bring cash for tipping - it never felt expected, but was always so appreciated. All in all: Would definitely recommend visiting GFA! Great for couples, families, friends, and singles who want a luxurious and fun trip to the beach.

Magnificent hotel with a wonderful rooms, overlooking the pool and beach areas. The hotel was very clean, luxurious, the rooms, lovely. There were 3 swim up bars in a long lagoon swimming pool. A big shout out to Alex, the pool guy who helped make our holiday very special. The sea and beach area was also great and we spent our time between them both.

The food was amazing and the service exceptional . Our server and Imry server were knowledgeable and appreciative. I would definitely come back . La Joya with Chef Miguel DZul are a 10/10.

We had dinner at La Joya and we had the best dinner and service from Azael & Imry! The chef outdid himself with the food it was absolutely amazing!! We will be back again for the great food and the best service!

We enjoyed our dinner here. Food was great and they offered a wonderful service. Both waiters, David and Miguel, did an excellent job. Pianist and Ballet dancers performed very well. Thank you for giving us a wonderful night.
