We wanted an all inclusive quiet place to vacation and share our wedding with our good friends. Mus and his staff went out of their way to see to our every desire. The hotel staff was great (especially Lobo and Alex) and made our stay very relaxing. The beach and the pool areas quiet and beautiful. We found the food to be very good and at request they would make us anything we wanted. The staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day special with a beach front ceremony and dinner. The staff even collected kelp from the beach to write our names in the sand for pictures. Mus took care of all of our excursions and made sure we had the best time possible. Mus also took extremely good care of our good friends that came down last minute to share in our wedding, he gave them an incredible all inclusive rate that made them feel like rock stars! Mus "Thank you again". Respectfully, Mike & Eileen

I arrived late at night so my first order was some sleep. Well, the A/C worked well, but the room (as well as the rest of the hotel) could use a bit of TLC.The staff is friendly enough, but the hotel really could use some updating. After I got up and took a barely warm shower, (didn't always have hot water) I decided to head down to the restaurant for a buffet breakfast. When I pay ($22) for a buffet I expect to go and find full or at least half full trays. There were no eggs, no fajitas, no beans, and no plates. I waited for 1/2 an hour for some food to come out and when it did, it was only warm. so that was my last meal there, never went back. I did, however, find an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the mall next door, $9, just sayin. I tried to keep a good attitude but still refused the "money saving opportunities" offered to me. It's just a tired place. Beach towels had stains or holes, there was only wifi if you paid for it (who does that?). There was a smoke alarm bracket, but no smoke alarm in the room. I had a "security box" in the closet, but it had no lock, no key needed (?). One thing that really bothered me was the fact that each time I left or returned to the property, I was asked: "what's your room number?" They said it was for security purposes (is there an issue with security?). One day I was even asked where I was going and for how long! I've NEVER had any hotel ANYWHERE ask me this and it's none of their business anyway! This just made me feel uncomfortable! No ice buckets because there's no ice machine, and get this, no lights after say 11pm? The lobby is completely dark except for the light of the person at the computer behind the desk (not the counter, there isn't one of those either.) If you want to save money, and only need bare necessities, this is your place, they're friendly and hospitable, but I like a few more goodies without having to pay for each item. Mus (pronounced moose) offered me a semi-inclusive package for and additional $600 but honestly, I found a bunch of places to eat for much less. Like I said, just the basics. Which is not so amazing.

Let me start by saying that this was my first time traveling to Cancun and if my return depended on my hotel stay I would never return. When I first arrived a day after my sister, I could tell the hotel left a lot to be desired. There were signs of mold on the wall and they placed us (my sister and I) in a room with only one bed. She said they did not have hot water in that room. When asked for a double we were put in a room on the first floor which was more like the dungeon. A room on another floor would have been an additional charge. When opening the door we could not get over the smell of sewage. The air conditioner kept ticking at night. When I told management, they said they would send someone right away but a room change would be an extra charge. Oh and wifi was $12/day that is ridiculous for a supposedly 4 star hotel! The hotel was more like a motel and closer to 2 stars than 4. Anyway to solve the problem with the sewage they sprayed febreze down the drain and the technician looked (literally looked) at the air conditioning unit. They were not going to give us a room change. My sister and I were about to leave and stay at another hotel but we already spent a lot of money on this failure. So we just spent most of our time on the beach and outside of the hotel. Do Not Stay Here!!! The one saving grace was the wait staff. They were really friendly. But honestly if wait staff inside a restaurant at a hotel is it's only saving grace that should be a sign!

I don't know when this resort was built, but it has been around for quite a long time. I would call it a Boutique Hotel with a bit over fifty rooms. It is also listed as a museum and has many beautiful works of art and bronze sculptures. It is also next door to the Luxury Mall. The main thing that sets this resort apart from all the rest is Mus, the manager, all all the rest of the staff. In all our travels, NEVER have we been treated with more warmth and kindness. These people of special in all the ways that count. They are want to know how they can provide any service that is missing. We we asked about a way to get English speaking channels on the television, they brought in a technician who installed a wifi box. I can't imagine any other hotel anywhere that would have done anything like that. Because of its age, there are somethings that may be outdated, but Mus and his staff will go to just about any length to please you, (Mus is pronounced MUCE)

Came here recently with my girlfriend on vacation to Cancun. We were looking for somewhere that was beachfront in the hotel zone that wasn't going to be too expensive. Casa Turquesa exceeded all expectations. We chose to do the all inclusive option which we weren't sure about at first but ended up being a great experience. Food, tours, and transportation for mostly everything was included. The hotel itself is a small boutique hotel right on the beach with swimming pool. The rooms have balconies with amazing views of the ocean. It's a little on the older side for the area and you're not going to get all the amenities of one of the massive resorts around it but you'll also be paying a fraction of the cost and has all the necessities. Great option if you're not planning to stay in the room all day. The staff was absolutely amazing. They took great care of us and were helpful in answering every question we had. Any time we had an issue or needed information about a tour Mustafa, Walter, or Fernando made sure to take care of it. The hotel only has one restaurant at it but there's a decent sized menu. If you're staying for a week you'll probably go through just about everything on it. We ended up going out one of the nights to one of the restaurants down the street. There's plenty within walking distance but most are pretty pricey. Overall it was amazing experience and would definitely return.
