Our travel agent booked us a night here after a mix up with another place in downtown. We were greeted by Mustafa and his staff who were all really friendly and helpful throughout the duration of our stay. Overall the hotel was clean and to a high standard. Grand/classic decor rather than anything too contemporary or modern. As there were six of us we were offered the 'beach house' which had three bedrooms, self-catered kitchen (though had no cutlery/crockery, kettle or oven. Just a job, kettle and fridge), and a reception area. For our one night stay it was perfect and had a balcony right on the beach. The facility wasn't very busy when we stayed so the pool, pool bar and beach areas were perfect, but I expect they might get crowded during busy season. The restaurant food was ok but not great. Another guest complained it was overpriced. All in all I would definitely recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for a week, which was our first time to Cancun. We walked often along the beautiful beaches and saw many hotels, many very large. I feel lucky we picked the Casa Turquesa. It's a small, quiet hotel with a very personable staff. Everyone I met was friendly and outgoing and we ended up on a first-name basis with many of them. That really makes a difference to me. A big thanks to you, Mustafa (GM?) for making our stay a pleasant one. I look forward to us getting together again soon, and sharing some time together. The room was quite big and had it's own private deck with a wonderful view of the pool and ocean. I loved the unique look of this place. It felt a little like an older Mediterranean / old Hollywood style with lots of plants, great paintings, marble floors, and statues. A quick note about the internet. Yes, as others have written, it was a little spotty at times and could be improved. Also, I agree, in this day and age, it should be free to all guests. My wife and I did the all-inclusive food deal, and we're glad we did. It's just so handy to walk a few steps to eat whenever you're hungry. The menu had quite a variety of different dishes showing a mix of Mediterranean, Mayan, Mexican, and American/International. The best part - everything was very fresh and made from scratch (as far as we could tell). A big thank you to the Chef. Also, it was great getting to know Oscar, Guillermo, and Catarina. I liked the visit so much that I purchased additional, advance bookings and look forward to my next visit.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. We were given an executive suite on two floors when we arrived, but it was outdated and unkept. We changed to a standard room which was much better but air conditioning broken down for two days. That being said, this boutique hotel has a lot of potential. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. We couldn't ask for a more beautiful white sandy beach and aqua blue water. Located near excellent restaurants and an upscale shopping mall. All the hotel needs is a furniture upgrade and some TLC,

Although this hotel was nice, we were scammed into staying. We made a booking through Hotels.com. It was a very cheap price. On the day that we were to check in I got a call and email from the hotel telling me our reservation was canceled due to a big mix up in the price. They said the best price they could do is 250usd per night. I was in a bind because it was Jan. 2nd, a very busy time. We decided to go and pay. I didn't realize until last month, when I looked at my credit card statement that Hotels.com had charged me for the stay. I tried to get that money back but the hotel said that I came with the hotels.com res and asked to be upgraded. Not true at all. On top of all of this it is a very hard sell time share

First and foremost, Names..... Benadicto was a true host of hosts and really made the best of our visit. We saw him on a daily basis where we were always welcomed with open arms and tentative questions. We have each other's numbers for the future and are keeping in contact, be sure to be kind and generous to this guy, he is a real gentlemen. Fernando, he has an incredible laugh that you will never forget, a truely iconic personality with a character you see on the movies that displays a cultural Mexican personality. He was a gentleman and a scholar, suited our every need and was always there to serve, welcome and suite our every need. Walter, what a guy. He was alway inquisitive of our perspective or our feelings about particular matters it was really a pleasure to have this experience. He always did everything he could to make us laugh and feel at home, a really great guy. Thanks Walter. Oswaldo, another great guy who was there on hand and was a familiar face around the place. We bumped into him across the road at Luxury Mall where he was entertaining other guest and he was sure to say Hello and ask if he could be of any service. Yet another gentlemen and a scholar. I believe it was the owner, never caught his name just a face that always beamed with a smile and was never shy to have a chin wag or compliment my beautiful better half (never shy, did I mention that) haha. Anyway, the room were beautiful and had particular Mexican theme to them that my partner absolutely loved. We then moved rooms (only due to wanting to be on the bottom floor), to a newly renovated room. It was perfect and suited out every need, the air conditioning was fantastic and the hot tub was brilliant. I really cannot express how impressed I was with this place, yes I have stayed from The Ritz-Carlton to the Back packers before, but this has such a welcome home feeling every time we passed the entrance, I felt excited to see everyone every morning and night when returning from daily activities. Incredible staff, truly wonderful experience, thank you all so much and we can (absolutely) not wait to be back.
