Nizuc Fraudulent Advertising!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I booked and prepaid two Ocean View suites based on the suite description and the photos that appear on the hotel web page. None of the suites had Ocean Views! When I requested the Reception Manager to adjust the price to reflect the suites' courtyard views,he refused. Beware of the fraudulent advertising practice by the Nizuc hotel.

Fourth Visit ❤️

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Another wonderful stay at Nizuc! Our fourth visit and every time we thoroughly enjoy our stay. Staff is amazing! The Punta and Ni restaurants are our favorites. Shout out to Hector from Bar A-Kan for always going above and beyond in serving us. We’ll see you all soon!

WORST EXPERIENCE!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My boyfriend and I took a trip to Mexico in December of 2023. He had booked a separate reservation from the 17-18th and I had a reservation from the 18th-20th at Nizuc Resort and Spa in Mexico. Upon check-in, we were sent to our room which was supposed to be ocean view and found that it was not that plus there was a swamp right at the bottom of view that had a terrible smell. The room also had several bugs addition to cold water in the shower. The next day, I woke up with a rash on my thigh after being bitten in my sheets. Therefore, we decided to check out of my boyfriend’s reservation as planned and I requested a refund from the hotel based on the circumstances. Upon request, the manager offered us a different room to see if I wanted to check into that room instead. We walked to the room and found a similar bug situation in addition to cold water so I declined and decided to book another reservation at Waldorf Astoria for the same dates. Upon my return, I notified AmexTravel of my experience to which they said that Nizuc had categorized my stay as a no-show. Outside of the terrible experience, I was just disappointed by the fact that they felt entitled to charge me for a stay that was not honored due to the conditions of the room. My suggestion to anyone reading this review would be to visit the location before making a commitment to stay and to ensure that you review your bill in its entirety upon checkout due to the dishonesty I experienced.

Paradise is Personal

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My wife Vittoria and I were looking for a peaceful, easy beach getaway to enjoy our wedding anniversary. We discovered paradise! We enjoyed our stay at Nizuc Resort immensely. Every element of our stay was to our liking. The facilities, the accommodations, the food and the staff were all excellent. Five Star in every respect. And the attention to detail from the staff went above and beyond. Our thanks to everyone at Nizuc, from Frank and Riccardo, the majordomos at our Tower, Ceiba, to Luis the Bellman and Hector in the A-Kan Bar, to Tadeo in La Playa, and everyone on the beach staff. We were in the best of hands and we cannot wait to return. Bruce Riordan

Absolutely incredible. I have stayed at several five star hotels all over the world. Best service of anywhere I have stayed. A very special place and highly recommended recommend. Adult pool is relaxing and quiet. Food is delicious. Easy drive to/from airport. Everything was perfect.

Very nice, upscale beachfront resort. Great service & amenities.

Only drawback was the Hawaii-level prices for food & beverages. These do not align with a Mexican Riviera vacation.

No one enjoys being worked over regardless of their social status.
