Perfect escape for All
We used Thomas Moore shuttle to and from resort. $25/person /round trip. Resort had nice buffet all three meals. Menu choices were very good. All personnel had good language skills and always wanted to be helpful. Our two bedroom suite - oceanfront- has enticed to return next year. Comfortable size. Great for a couple. And nice for two couples who know one another well. Beach is gentle slope to waters edge. Small waves. If you want pounding surf, go to Royal Sands. This older-very well maintained- property. Smaller, no pounding music. Very peaceful even midday. Great place for small children and families. Our group 77-84 y/o found it quiet enough to nap on the beach or your balcony. Plenty of beach sitting and sun shade. Pool was used a lot by all ages. Beach food was excellent for shrimp tacos and ceviche mixo. We were here 16 years ago. Now it will be our February escape from StL winter. Thanks to Royal Sands management and super, super staff J&P

Love the activities department!
We’ve been coming here for 40 years and it is always better than the last year! We truly feel like we are “home “when we arrive. Your staff knows us by name and goes out of their way to make sure we have everything we need. A special shout out to the activities department! Omar, Charly, and Alex are AWESOME ! I love the activities! The daily exercise class, organized activities and the water sports at the beach make Royal Cancun stand out!This is truly a family resort and we absolutely love it there.

The BEST staff anywhere!
A big, big shout out to the FANTATSIC staff at the Royal Cancun! Without their attention to detail and great attitudes, this resort would not be the place it is. We love it there! The Royal Cancun staff are the best!
Our vacation was great! We have stayed here many times and have enjoyed every single day. The guys who provide the activities are especially helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to insure a fabulous time. Omar, Charley and Alex are fantastic people.
