The activities staff make the stay worthwhile. Cocktail classes can't be beat! Definitely partake during your stay. All of the staff are outstanding. Only point of frustration is at the front desk. Not a lot of focus on customer service as the first point of contact.

Excellent place to stay if you prefer a non all-inclusive at the Cancun hotel zone. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We loved Ali, our Yoga teacher. We loved the atmosphere and food at the Sea & Stone restaurant. The beach is wonderful with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The water is turquoise blue and clean. This place is clean and we also felt safe. There is a $1 RedBus that takes you to any place up and down the strip. Will be back again.

This was a 5-Day business trip to include my wife accompanying me. The room was fine, albeit a blinking night stand light, after my confirming the bulb was secure. I mentioned to the GM, Hector, responding to his e-mail, asking within the first day how our trip was going. 3 days later, the bulb was replaced... Also, We were looking forward to play tennis each day, confirming prior to arrival the hotel had courts for an hourly fee. Unfortunately, the courts, covered with artificial grass..., AND sand sprinkled only on the court area surface. This made the courts a little too slippery when sprinting for a return. When We asked to have the sand swept or vacuumed, We were told the sand was to soak up water after a shower! I don't know of tennis being played with wet balls or on a wet court, usually rare for Cancun and minimal rainfall. In other words, nothing was or would be done...; We only played one day, and another merely volleying with minimal movement to not get hurt, instead of every day. In Hector's defense, He greatly apologized in writing, removing our 2 days of court fees, complimentary breakfast buffet for 2 on our checkout day, and a discounted future stay voucher that I may or may not use for future visits to Cancun, business or pleasure. Finally, several amenities were either down for repairs or unavailable, mentioned in writing upon check-in. This would explain the reduced room/day rate, compared to nearby hotels North of this property.

Had a wonderful experience learning how to make ceviche and tasting the delicious dish later. Forgot the name of the guy demonstrating the recipe but he did a great job along with his assistant Victoria . The music they played in the background was great.
