Reviews for Majestic Barrière Cannes
We stayed at Barrière le Majestic after our arrival in Nice from Montreal. It was a month before the film festival but the red carpet was out, and we got upgraded by Karolyn to a suite with a balcony overlooking the hall with the red carpet. The front desk was warm and helpful. We wandered the port and streets on foot and planned our day trip to Isle St. Honorât the next day. We had purchased wine and cheese for a picnic on the island for Saturday of Easter weekend. Geoffrey at the concierge desk offered to keep it chilled for us and find a suitable container for us the next day. When we picked it up the next morning from Laurent, the lobby staff presented us with a tote bag with our wine and cheese and had added a box of Easter chocolates and a second box of bread and three tapenades and two wine glasses wrapped in linens. We were very touched and had a most memorable day and picnic on a balcony of the fortress overlooking the Mediterranean. The bar le Fouquet was movie worthy, including the overimportant Patrice, who seemed quite put out that we asked to have our table wiped from the previous guests mess after we had ordered a bottle of champagne. He barely registered our existence after that, but we found even that entertaining. The breakfasts, as others have previously written, are superb, and best enjoyed in the most relaxed manner you can afford. The room itself was recently renovated and flawless. We managed to avoid most of the construction noise during the day. When we mentioned the noise, they offered us a meal at their beach club across the street. Highly recommend this hotel anytime and Cannes in April.
Beautiful hotel. I spent a couple of nights and it, and the experience was fantastic. Everything is first-rate, from the rooms, staff, food ... They have all my recommendations. Any future hosting in Cannes being their guest again.
I attended the Marché du Film Welcome Party last night at the Plage Majestic, which is operated by the Majestic, and the food and ambience were fantastic, but that's not why I'm writing. I lost my purse at the party and reported it to the security staff, but they were not able to find it. The next morning, the staff placed a call to American Express asking them to contact me and let me know my bag had been found. Not only did I get my bag back, but not a penny was missing! Next time we come to Cannes, we are staying at this hotel!

Delightful experience at the Majestic in Cannes with warm, personable but utterly professional staff, including several stand-out members of staff in the bar, Fouquet's restaurant and the spa itself. A warm welcome was delivered despite the pressure of Cannes Film Festival. The room was immaculate and the sea view very special. The renovated Fouquet's restaurant is also a success. To be recommended.

Fantastic hotel with a fantastic location. Only complaint was that the shower is super small for such a luxury hotel. Good thing was the valet service for the hotel and its proximity to literally everything
