As the name suggests, it's Majestic inside and out. It's all marble and mirrors, even in the elevators. The Hotel is ideally situated on the sea front, not far from the Film Festival red carpet and convenient for all eating and drinking and the shopping precincts. We had a lovely room on the seventh floor (the voice in the lift amusingly pronounces it as the "seventh flow-ar" a bit like a local from the Gallowgate) with a good view of the sea and the bay. Amenities are all first class. Service at Reception is first class. The Restaurant, Fouquet's, is first class, even if (like most things in Cannes) it's a bit expensive - €78 for a bit of sole! - and the service throughout the hotel is first class too. Breakfast comes in at €44 per person, but what's on offer (a glass or two of fizz is included) is well worth it. There's a good sized pool out front which looked decidedly chilly, and a limited number of sun beds around it and on the grass nearby. We arranged for private transfers from Nice Airport - also to be recommended, rather than use the local bus - and it takes less than half an hour on the motorway. As far as the Hotel is concerned, I really can't find fault and I'd recommend this as a great place to stay for anyone who would like to visit.

Booked the Superior room for anniversary. Arrived to Hotel at 1am. We got the cards for the room which was tiny. Smallest hotel room I have ever seen (including some 2star hotels I used to stay in when I was a student). I called the reception and they told me that there was no more room and if I want something better I have to pay a lot more (obviously). Rooms are very different from photos! Be careful! I wish I knew that :( very disappointing...

The hotel is great wrt its location. It is on the breach front and close the cannes film festival venue. Celebrities stay in this hotel and it is a great place to stay in. Rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. Luxury hotel in Cannes. Has great gym which is well equipped and works 24 X 7. Has a great breakfast restaurant and offers range of breakfast. Vegetarians will have limited options and nothing from Indian breakfast items. Mostly continental breakfast and nice service from European standard.

There is something classy about this lovely hotel. Perfectly located, you are treated so well by the staff from the moment you walk up to the door. They make this place and your stay here special. Rooms are tastefully finished and well built. When you closed the door you feel at home. We stayed over the weekend and even with the hotel full you couldn't hear a thing from your room, if you are looking for a quiet place then this is it. We are already planning our next visit.

Would definitely put this up there with the best hotels we've stayed, if not the best. From arriving at the hotel reception on our first day to going home, first class service throughout. The location is bang in the middle of the sea front, with a small pool & sunbathing area complete with poolside bar. On arrival we were upgraded as it was my birthday & even had a cake delivered to the room ready for when we got back from our night's festivities. We stayed bed & breakfast & the breakfasts are really good, catering for all flavors. The staff couldn't be more helpful, with the concierge sorting us a trip to Monaco & Monte Carlo. The hotel reminds me of one of the really grand hotels, with chandeliers & loads of shiny brass, but mixed in with up to date advertising screens on the hotel walls, advertising the Cannes film festival, which was shortly to start. All in all a fantastic hotel if you like to push the boat out & the drinks at the poolside bar are not the cheapest, but this is Cannes........ fantastic weekend enjoyed.
