Majestic Barrière Cannes in Cannes, France
With its brilliantly white Art Deco-style façade anno 1923, storied Majestic Barrière Cannes epitomizes French Riviera luxury lifestyle along tony Boulevard La Croisette. Located across from the red-carpeted Palais de Festivals, where Hollywood A-listers strut their stuff during the famous film festival, the hotel Grand Dame wows guests with an expansive lobby dominated by dramatic champagne-colored columns, twinkling chandeliers and polished antiques-furnished seating areas. 265 brightly elegant rooms occupy a total of 7 floors and sleek dark-hued furniture is smartly balanced with crimson splashes and eye-catching floral images in gilt frames. Rooms provide must-have gadgetry like Bose iPod docks, wireless Internet access, plus flat-screen televisions, and, for the no-delay pick-me-up in the AM, Nespresso machines are on hand. Black marble-clad bathrooms show off equally dapper design and are kitted out with separate bathtubs and showers as well as bespoke toiletries.
The hotel offers guests a mosaicked heated outdoor pool for high fashion sunbathing, or, a private beach and jetty a few steps across the boulevard. No need to vacate the coveted beach chair to break for lunch: simply order from Majestic Barrière’s chic on-site eatery La Plage. After a day hitting boutiques by crème de la crème French-label haute couture tenants like Blanc Bleu, Petit Bateau, and Comptoir des Cotonniers on exclusive Rue D’Antibes, decompress at the hotel’s refined Spa My Blend by Clarins that is outfitted with color-therapy showers, Hammam, sauna and restorative rooms. Or try something new at the cutting edge fitness center such as LIA (Low Impact Aerobics) and TRX Suspension Training. Feed the body at the posh on-site outpost of iconic Parisian restaurant Fouquet’s Cannes: The glam hot spot with a see-and-be seen outdoor dining terrace serves sumptuous renditions of French classics like mullet pissaladière (Provençal pizza) and Charolais rump steak tartar. The Majestic Barriere no doubt knows how to put on the Ritz and lavishes guests with its upscale amenities in an unforgettably debonair locale.

Reviews for Majestic Barrière Cannes
Hotels promise a lot, especially ones rated 5 stars but very few wholly deliver on this promise. Le Majestic in Cannes however lived up to its promise and name as our stay was truly majestic. From check in where we were met by Gerard whose experience and professionalism shone through to Thibaut at breakfast where nothing was too much trouble the hotel was faultless. We were upgraded to a wonderful room on the 5th floor which had sea and Le Croisette views. The decor was fabulous very decadent with a large bedroom and bathroom with both shower and separate bath, his & hers sinks. We enjoyed pre and post dinner drinks in the bar which again was very decadent and fairly priced by 5* standards. The staff again were faultless and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of choice and food was to a wonderful standard. I could continue with lots of superlatives about how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay but there are none to describe the DNA the staff brings to this hotel. Stay you will not be disappointed.

A five star hotel with all the right trimmings. But what really impressed me was the service at the kids club at the Barriere. Despite the fact that the kids club was not operational at the time that we were staying at the hotel, I was offered Berenice’s services to look after my daughter while I was away for work for three hours on Saturday and Sunday. A lovely young lady, Berenice stepped right up to the mark. She took over my daughter’s activities: took her on a petite train ride around the boulevard, carnival rides at the park, played board games to entertain, treated her to snacks and ice- cream, and even fulfilled a request to visit the beach. All at absolutely no cost. Sasha was totally delighted. It made her trip. Would highly recommend the Kids Club at the Barriere. Thank you, Berenice.

im afraid to say this hotel has really gone down hill stayed for 4 nights room was dirty and small on the third day I noticed that money had been stolen from the draw in my room I called reception and they sent the chamber maid up to my surprise ! When she came to me she looked at me with disgust so I asked for the manager to be sent up when he arrived his name was Nicole He looked like he just came out of school and told me that this normally happens and he said he would investigate? I said I was not happy and suggested I was going to call the police and expose the hotel he said do not make threats to me. So the next day I went to speak to the real manager another Nicole I must say he was more understanding and offered me free dinner in the restaurant and to clear my bill on departure I reluctantly accepted his offer and regret doing so the food in the restaurant was disgusting which I left s And asked if they could bring the desert to the room my whole experiance at the hotel was horrible knowing the fact that someone had taken money from my room
My wife and I have just come back from our annual trip to Cannes ,to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and once again Hotel Barriere Le Majestic turns a trip away into a trip to the Stars!!, Without question one of the best hotels in the World, the position, setting ,quality and style ooze from every corner. The staff are like no other we have experienced and make you feel ,special, important, wanted and cared for. As you head out of reception to the beach, smiles are on everybody's face, from the girls on reception to the guy parking the White Rolls Ghost outside. Treat you self and go whenever you can, the experience is breathtaking.
