Reviews for Majestic Barričre Cannes
We are currently on our last night in the Majestic, wrapping up a 3 day stay in Cannes. We’ve been on the road 2 weeks now and in a number of hotels - so far this is the absolute best - and I honestly can say one of the top hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff is attentive, efficient, polite and always with a smile and bonjour to us. Every question or concern has been addressed. Just had our room turned down for the night and once again so very pleased with the service. Breakfast, can’t say enough about how great it was. So many choices from sushi to macaroons! Of course with all the usual breakfast selections too. My son was thrilled with the chocolate bars and cookies that he managed to grab a couple extra for snacks later in the day! We had a couple of great rooms booked, but they upgraded one to a suite and we are thrilled. Mom and I spent the afternoon lounging by the pool, too cold to swim yet, but it was wonderful to relax on the lounges in the sun. First night in I got a big hug from my husband thanking me for booking here. Thank you to the Majestic for upping the game and making us Canadians so welcome!

This hotel is one of the hubs of the trade show we attended in Cannes. The hotel is always buzzing but the service remains high. Drinks are expensive as you’d expect but you get to enjoy the ambiance. It’s definitely one of the places to be seen!

This hotel has splendid rooms and facilities however the staff are overwork and probably underpaid but above all for a so-called palace this place is totally understaffed..... Room service for breakfast took 20-30mins which is okay but dinner one night took 1 hour and 40 minutes with an excuse that the lifts weren’t working. I have been staying here for at least 30 years and this time I was given a suite on the side with no sea view and a noisy side street downstairs. The maid service was friendly and excellent. The food in the room was delicious and cooked perfectly. I advise you to eat in your room with room service because the chef is most definitely not the same average chef who does the over cooked fish and dishes in the Fouquets restaurant downstairs. The bar at night is a busy place during the events and a pickup place with plenty of foreign women looking for a “date” BTW If you want to go for a swim during the day you are obliged to go through the restaurant and be in full view of all the restaurant customers while you exercise Not a very discreet pool for the shy.....
This is a really great 5 star hotel. Superb accommodation- great technology- great service and amazing breakfasts.. Can't fault it and really terrific location right on the Croisette. We had a weekend with Secret Escapes - GREAT VALUE,! The staff were so nice and helpful and the hotel although very grand has a lovely atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. Great Management here and it shows. Will definitely be back and with Secret Escapes!! Only had breakfast so can't comment on the restaurants.

I went to the majestic recently for my 17th birthday and couldn’t of wished for any better, when we got to the hotel concierge insisted on taking our bags up to our room whilst we checked in, then at check in due to it being my birthday the staff said they had a surprise they had upgraded us to the junior prestige suite with a balcony! Bruno from reception was ever so helpful in showing us around the hotel and our room as were all of the staff, the staff were very attentive and welcoming, as was this superb hotel. I was greeted with a knock at the door shortly after being shown to my room and a member of staff had brought in a cake and some chocolates for my birthday! We also had breakfast included (€44PP) which included a varied selection of delicious fresh foods and also included champagne! Everything about my stay was amazing, the service was second to none, the friendliness and how much I felt welcome and at home each and every day was just incredible. I could not have wished for a better birthday and I am looking forward to returning to the majestic very soon.
