Fantastic 7* service
Wow what a wonderful hotel. From arriving at the gates the hospitality shown has been fantastic. All of the staff are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and caring. Dinner in the Veranda was superb, Breakfast choices were outstanding and The Afternoon Tea is a must. We spent two nights and wish we could have stayed longer nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special.

Afternoon Tea at the Mount Nelson
We enjoyed the afternoon tea while staying at the Mount Nelson. Superb from start to finish. Ntombi was our server and she was both charming and knowledgeable. With over 70 teas to choose from we definitely needed a little help !! The savoury and sweet plates were all outstanding and we managed to visit the cake buffet as well. We would highly recommend a visit for afternoon tea.

Afternoon tea at the Mount Nelson hotel
We had our afternoon tea at the Mount Nelson hotel. It was absolutely beautiful and every bite was delicious.. The scenery was beautiful as well. Our waitress was Ntombi — She was fabulous ! Wonderful afternoon experience definitely do not need any dinner!

definitely worth experiencing at least once
It was a 10/10 experience. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with elegant gardens and a classic atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxed. The tea selection was exceptional, with a wide variety of blends and very knowledgeable staff to guide the experience. The food presentation was stunning - from the freshly baked scones to the delicate pastries and savoury bites, everything looked and tasted wonderful. A special thank you to our waitress, Ntombi, who made the experience even more memorable with her warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly service. She made us feel incredibly welcome and took great care of every detail throughout the afternoon.
