Lovely afternoon tea experience with our waitress Thuli who made the day extra special.

We spent the day working from the Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel and I am honestly still in awe. From the moment we arrived, every detail had been thoughtfully considered in advance. The level of care and attentiveness was exceptional, we were looked after every second of the day without it ever feeling intrusive. A special mention to Andiswa, our waiter, who was absolutely incredible. Warm, intuitive, and always one step ahead, she made the entire experience feel effortless and so personal. The food, tea, coffee, and drinks were all outstanding, and the high tea was truly something special, beautifully presented and delicious in every way. The property itself is out of this world. Immaculately kept, rich in history, and celebrated through such bold and beautiful colours, every corner feels intentional and full of character. What made it even more special for me was how kind and accommodating they were with my little dog, Fabio. They went above and beyond, making sure he had water, food, biltong, and even his own bed. The sweetest touch was a Chommies harness with his name engraved on it… I was completely blown away. This is more than just a hotel. It’s an experience. The level of service, attention to detail, and genuine care is something truly rare. A definite must for anyone visiting Cape Town 🤍
