Excellent food and service. The staff are so froendlu and the setting is also beautiful. We would highly recommend for afternoon tea.

A lovely way to spend a late morning
The food and drinks were delicious and the service exceptional - Thuli was absolutely fantastic We were particularly impressed with the gluten free options which far exceeded the Gf offerings we have experienced elsewhere.

A big disappointment
We were yesterday for the so called afternoon tea.The complimentary bubbly was not cold,waitresses completely not interested,and the food was not fresh either…Just took out from the fridge,at best Pick n Pay quality…It used to be so good,but I won t be back again.Subpar,bad service and expensive for what it is…

Heavenly High Tea
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon high tea at the Mount Nelson. The selection of tea and treats was of excellent quality, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyable. The service was warm and attentive, with special mention to Thuli, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more pleasant. A relaxing and refined way to spend an afternoon, highly recommended.

A stay to remember.
Im currently staying here in one of the suites and I am utterly blown away. The team working here are incredible, everyone is so helpful. Two of the team really made this stay special, Simlindile outside by the pool was attentive, friendly and personable. Im not a 'sir' kinda guy so we swapped names, swapped jokes. When we were at the pool the following day he came over 'heeey Owen' big smile. Really great guy. Was a pleasure to see him. Nothing was too much trouble. And Charles on the main door, my day started as a better day meeting him, he started with a bow, but I quickly asked for a hand shake and a big hug which was our greet anytime wed see each other! A smile from ear to ear, such a wonderful, nice, warm human. The hotel itself is like a dream, Rooms are stunning and spacious. The location of the hotel is wonderfully situated near the bottom of Table Mountain. Zero issues. I feel very grateful and fortunate to have stayed here. It will be an experience that will stay with me for a lifetime. The food is next level. The Red Room (asian) and Planet Bar (more chilled) on site were outstandingly tasty.
