Thuli our wonderful waitress truly made our high noon tea a beautiful experience (Perhaps the best one yet). Her energy, the atmosphere and the variety of food and drinks were 10/10. Highly recommended:)

Thank you for cultivating the 5-star culture at the hotel! Services, staff, and dining were beyond compare! The only place to stay in Cape Town! We will most certainly be back, hopefully soon!

High tea at Mount Nelson Hotel is truly a beautiful experience. The setting is hard to beat — the gardens are absolutely stunning, and the overall ambiance feels elegant and relaxed at the same time. The food was delicious across the board, with a great variety and attention to detail. A special mention to our waitress, Nonkitha, who really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of — her service made a big difference to the experience. The only downside was that the sun and heat became a bit intense at times, which took away slightly from the comfort. Also, as a local, the atmosphere can feel a touch pretentious with quite a few tourists leaning into the extravagance. That said, it’s still a lovely treat and overall a great experience — definitely worth it for the setting, service, and quality.
