Afternoon Tea @ Mount Nelson Hotel
I had the most beautiful afternoon tea experience at Mount Nelson. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant, warm, and thoughtfully prepared. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere made the whole afternoon feel special and indulgent. A special thank you to Emma, who served us so graciously. Her attention to detail, kindness, and warm personality truly elevated the experience. She made us feel so welcome and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. The tea selection, delicate pastries, and freshly prepared treats were exceptional — every bite was a delight. It was one of those experiences where you slow down, enjoy the moment, and appreciate the beauty around you. Thank you to the Mount Nelson team, and especially Emma, for making our afternoon tea so memorable. I will definitely be back.

Brilliant experience all-round at the Fountain
We went to The Fountain restaurant at the Mount Nelson with a couple of friends for a boozy lunch in the sunshine. It was fantastic! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, the surroundings were lush and beautiful, and the energy was just so good. It couldn’t have been a better day - thank you to Chef Luke and the staff at the Mount Nelson for taking such good care of us.

The Fountain Restaurant- A Standout Casual Eatery at the Mount Nelson
We had a weekend lunch with friends at the Fountain Restaurant at the Mount Nelson and it was absolutely divine. The setting is something else entirely — all that pink and green, the gardens...all of it The food is beautifully plated and deceptively simple, with really rich, satisfying flavours and a wonderful variety of ingredients on offer. Everything was delicious and the servings were generous. The Fountain is well worth a lunch outing while in Cape Town!
