We had a lovely High Tea at the Mount Nelson a couple of weeks ago. The setting is beautiful, with a wonderful selection of teas to choose from and an impressive abundance of delicious sweet treats (we were bursting by the end)! A special mention must go to Andiswa, who made our afternoon even more enjoyable. She was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, and her excellent service really stood out. A memorable experience from start to finish. Thank you, Andiswa, for making our afternoon so special!

We had the most magical, beautiful weekend at the Mount Nelson! The attention to detail is absolutely incredible!! We went as a mini moon/ birthday weekend for my husband. Our room was upgraded & incredible! Biggest room I've ever been in haha. They surprised us with complementary champagne & chocolate cake (to die for). We felt like we were in this little bubble the whole weekend - so tranquil, so beautiful & so lux!! The staff were so friendly & warm & made so much effort! The breakfast buffet was insane! Couldn't recommend this enough.

We stayed at the Mount Nelson for our final night in South Africa, and it was the perfect way to end an incredible trip. The first thing that struck us was the setting. Even the drive up to the property through the tree-lined entrance is beautiful, and the gardens make the hotel feel like a peaceful retreat in the middle of Cape Town. The Mount Nelson has a timeless charm that makes it feel unlike anywhere else. The food was phenomenal, and breakfast the next morning was one of the highlights of our stay. The selection was expansive, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. A special thank you to Warwick from Guest Services, who was incredibly informative and helpful throughout our stay. We also have to recognize Cheslyn, who took care of us at dinner. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, and she left a lasting impression on us. We only stayed one night, but we left wishing we had booked longer. We’ll absolutely be back and look forward to spending more time at the Mount Nelson on our next visit to Cape Town.
