Sublime South African Teas Served by Zodwa
Our friends invited us to tea at Mount Nelson, and coming from the UK, it seemed like maybe not the best thing to do on our visit to Cape Town. We were proved wrong! Not only was the atmosphere fantastic, with the iconic pink building of Mount Nelson set in a sublime landscape, but we had the chance to sample an incredible array of South African teas, led by Zodwa, who shared her knowledge and passion for her country’s fantastic native teas. We highly recommend this special outing. Thank you Zodwa!

Lovely food in a beautiful setting with very attentive staff

it’s my absolute favorite hotel in Cape Town.
I’ve already been to the Afternoon Tea Experience at the Belmont Hotel for the second time, and I have to say: it’s my absolute favorite hotel in Cape Town. I would honestly love to stay there for a longer period because it’s simply stunning and incredibly aesthetic. We truly enjoyed our time there. I especially want to highlight the service: we were taken care of by Momkitha, who was not only extremely kind but also very humorous and made sure we had the best experience possible. We had a wonderful time and also took some amazing photos. I can highly recommend booking a table there and experiencing this beautiful atmosphere for yourself.
