One&Only Cape Town

After a long journey from New York we could not have been received more warmly and graciously. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, sophisticated and a pleasure to stay at. The staff is exceptional in all ways. We were almost always greeted with our names. Breakfast was not only delicious, but a visual feast.. We had a lovely dinner at the Rooi which was delicious. We can’t say enough positive things about this hotel and hope someday to get back!

I highly recommend this bar - amazing service with a team of mainly wonderful female staff - Eunice and Zoe particularly helpful and Elton behind the bar - views are spectacular and our dinner was delicious - the champagne was a super start also !

The hotel standard, facilities and its location could not be bettered. All the staff were so genuinely polite and helpful. We have travelled a lot and stayed at many top rated hotels, including other One and Only hotels, but Cape Town surpassed them all in terms of the overall experience.

Wow where do I start, what an amazing hotel, with stunning views, who couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. If we could give 6 stars we would. The instant impact of the breathless view of table mountain from the huge window in the hotel bar is simply stunning, and a great start was helped by the warm and friendly greeting from the staff, especially Fillimon who greeted us every day with a beaming smile. The concierge Faroz was brilliant, he was very helpful, went above and beyond to help us with our trips and events we had planned, always smiling and wanted us to have the best experience possible. We also used the guest what’s app service which had swift responses and easy to use. The room was amazing, we had an exquisite view of table mountain, the bed was very comfortable, we could connect our device to the TV to watch what we wanted, the cleanliness was immaculate and turn down was brilliant with a different amazing present every night. The buffet breakfast with a La carte offering was exceptional, so much choice, great service and high quality food. We also ate in the restaurant one night and food was tasty, again with excellent service. The Pool is amazing, beds are very comfortable, lots of towels, the staff are helpful, brilliant service, and nothing was an issue. Who we believe to be the Pool manager, was always so helpful, welcoming and attentive. The hotel is in a great area, you are a very short walk into the vibrant V&A, where there is lots to do and see. We would highly recommend - we will be back!
