Reviews for Capri Tiberio Palace
Just go - Some of the best service I have experienced in Europe - this hotel is all about its customers from start to finish..food , decor and environment all just excellent. We arrived on the opening night of the season and found the staff attentive , discreet and caring - I get the feeling it lasts through the season. On its own Capri is a tourist scene, but Tiberio Palace itself is a reason to come ...once you are here the masses fade away .... thanks Davide and team !
Traveled to the hotel last fall with the BF, took a year for me to write this review but I knew I wanted to write it. Our experience started with disembarking off the ferry from Naples, coming off 6 days in Rome. We were greeted by a hotel staff who had met us at the port to collect our bags. This was a nice and very welcome surprise to us- we were then luggage free to find our way to the hotel, stopping a few places en route to look out at the scenic points and little shops on the way. We get to the hotel and are welcomed warmly by the front desk. We were given refreshments and then taken to our room, a jr suite with sea view for 4 nights. The Room: Gorgeous design, stunning views from our large balcony, a large bathroom with his and hers closet space. Free still and sparkling bottled water replenished daily by housekeeping. Bed was decent enough, maybe the one thing the hotel can upgrade. Breakfast area was either inside the airy, light-filled dining room or outside on the terrace overlooking Capri. Breakfast on the terrace with the sun out was so relaxing and serene to start the day and the food was tasty and generous, consisting of fresh buffet items and also a choice of made to order menu. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment but there are so many good restaurants 5-10 min away that wasn't an issue. The location of the hotel was close to the main square but removed enough to be away from the crowds and just around the corner were scenic trails overlooking the sea. I also indulged in a massage at the spa and while the spa in on the smaller side, the masseuse was top notch. I think her name was Marisol. The hotel staff are some of the most welcoming, pleasant and helpful that we have ever encountered and we have have stayed at some very nice hotels around the world. They seem to be genuinely happy and it shows up in the atmosphere of the hotel. We would later go on to stay at the Villa Cimbrone and Monastero Santa Rosa on the Amalfi coast and while those hotels were beautiful too, it is the Capri Tiberio Palace that we haven't stopped thinking about and where we plan to stay again next time we are in Italy.

I booked this weekend trip to Capri as a birthday gift for my husband. We spent 3 nights here and were totally looked after. The room was spacious with a balcony and great views over Capri. For breakfast there was plenty to choose from and in a amazing setting which was on the terrace overlooking Capri. Staying in this hotel felt like you were a film star from a bygone age. Very close to walk to the main square and great restaurants nearby.

Advantages : modern, design, close to Piazzetta, calm and relaxing atmosphere, service, live easy listening music in the evenings. Disadvantages : the pool is mostly indoor, always shaded, not clean enough
We arrived on Capri on our way to Amalfi for 2 days/nights. Tiberio Palace was a beautiful hotel within close proximity to the main square for great shopping and restaurants. The hotel reminded us of Miami only on Capri. Very modern and well decorated with bright colors and artwork. Great music and a great bar for pre-dinner cocktails. The service was great and very helpful with recommendations for walks and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and having a few Italian lessons. The baggage service / ticket service getting our bags up and to the port was impeccable and worked like clockwork. Our room was nicely appointed with a great view but it was situated over where the carts came in for deliveries so that was a little disruptive for a light sleeper and is why I am not giving it 5 stars. Capri in general was very crowded – apparently the cruise ships came in on the same day we arrived which made this little rock feel very crowded but we loved the hotel and would recommend to others. Just avoid days when the ships come in.
