We had a lovely warm welcome. We had a studio suite which has the most lovely balcony with a view of the sea. The perfect place to chill out. Whole hotel is gorgeously decorated. We loved Jacky bar and the many Jacky Cocktails we drank! Bar staff were great - thanks for chopping all the strawberries! Early evening drinks also came with delicious canapes. Hotel is in a great location, in the action but lots of nice walks right on the door step. We loved every minute and will definitely be back.

On arrival at the hotel, the five star service began immediately. We were able to sit at the bar for check in and were given glasses of refreshing lemonade. Our room was spacious and colourful- brightly decorated with a large sunny balcony overlooking the city. The food was excellent, we had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant (a delicious five course meal with wine pairings picked out by the sommelier, who was great) and the breakfast included in our rate was also delicious, with a wide selection. The staff were all friendly and went above and beyond with any queries we had, whether it be posting a card or arranging transfers to our next hotel. It would have been helpful to have been contacted/told about the assistance available at the port prior to arrival, but luckily it all worked out as if by magic. A man in a blue shirt walked past and as he did so asked where we were staying, despite feeling slightly suspicious(!) we told him, he then spoke into a walkie talkie and seconds later a friendly hotel representative met us and arranged for our bags to be taken directly to the hotel, whilst we went up the furnicular with the free tickets he gave to us. There was a fee for the luggage to be transferred, but avoiding the hassle of lugging bags through the crowded narrow streets and down to the port just about justifies the cost. When we return to Capri we would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights and 4 days. The hotel is very well located, close to the Piazetta, the shops and the taxi stand. The staff were very nice and helpful. they helped us book restaurants as well as a boat trip (I would recommend the tour of the island in a typical goose boat). The junior suite was very spacious and clean but not as nice as the ones on the website pictures which show very colourful and nicely decorated rooms, ours was quite basic. We had a cute balcony sea view. The pool was quite small and not deep at all but ideal for a cool dip after walking around the city in the heat. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. I recommend booking at Da Gelsomina restaurant for dinner as the sunset and the food are superb there. Piccolo Marina is I guess the closest beach from the hotel, we took a cab to get there. Via Krupp is within walking distance from the hotel.

Spent 3 nights here and had a fabulous room with a great terrace looking out to the sea. Bed was firm, high quality. WIFI worked well. Bathroom was spacious but shower was very dark with poor lighting. Breakfast was ok. Service was very good, Bianca at front desk was a great help especially when ferries stopped running due to weather! and her restaurant recommendations were right on. The decor and look of hotel is really very nice. I am not giving the hotel 5 stars due to the pool, you cannot swim in it. It is not deep enough, they call it a lounge pool. I spoke to other guests who were also quite surprised by this. May not be a big deal for others but if you want to swim in a pool while at your hotel this is not the place.
