Grossly over priced for an outdated resort. Rooms and surrounding are in poor shape. Breakfast was disappointing, they forgot my pancakes and toast, eggs were under cooked. Room service forgot to refill our sugar and creamer daily and no one seemed to care.

We used points to pay for the 3 night stay - if we had to pay actual money we would have been quite upset. The location is stunning but the accommodations are really in need of upgrade. Our shower had near-zero water pressure (not kidding) and calls to 'guest services' were a joke. No response and unfriendly customer service. The hair blow dryer didn't work. The second day maid service never showed up - we had to call for towels and toilet paper to be delivered. The restaurant food was mediocre though the Grill had the best menu and wine list of the options on-site. Prices were exorbitant - fine if you get the value but not the case here. Would not return under any circumstances.

This hotel is badly in need of a complete renovation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it had too many maintenance issues to even list. It was extremely dated and smelled musty. The old television was connected to traditional Cox cable. There was no menu for room service in our room as promised, and it took 30 minutes to have one delivered (the menu is inexplicably not available online). The entire facility felt short-staffed from the main bar building to the Grill restaurant at the golf course (also a very dated and stodgy ambience). This is a beautiful location but we will not return (especially not at their prices) until it is renovated. At best this product is currently a 3-star hotel.

Stunning location. We enjoyed golf, pool, and spa. All were top notch. As a wedding guest there we enjoyed the event in every way and felt it was a great choice by the couple. Our room 341 was clean upon arrival but the door stuck while opening and there was a strong musty smell. We got the vibe that the room has not been opened in a long time. Fortunately the weather was nice enough for us to open the large patio screened doors and let the fresh air in. As part of a group we started to compare notes about the golf cart service to transport guests around the resort. The consensus is that when you are an active guest (checked into a room at that moment) you get immediate service. As soon as you are not an active guest all of the sudden they are very busy. My first day was spent at the spa before check in (and my husband was at the resort’s golf course. As we waited for check in we had lunch at the Lodge. I asked for a ride to the room of my friend who was checked in. I was told it could be up to 20 min and he suggested that I walk it. As soon as we all checked out early morning, we noticed the lengthy service time. Would stay there again and hope that cart service is more accommodating to all people on the property.

Amenities include spa services , golf and tennis facilities, 4 pools, fitness center, and an array of outdoor adventures from rock climbing and desert hiking to hot air ballooning and desert jeep tours. The resort features a 33000 sq. ft. spa oasis which offers extensive massages, revitalizing facials and other refreshing therapies. As usual I played tennis extensively, following it up with a sport oriented massage. So, if you would like a stay in one of Arizona's most celebrated hideaways with visually stunning grounds..........then try the ...........Boulders Resort & Spa......................a relaxing and adventurous haven.
