Carmel Valley Ranch has always been an escape with plenty of room to roam, to explore, to discover. Where people rekindle romances, reunite with friends and family, revive spirits, or simply get away and play. And these days, play is more important than ever. Our all-suite accommodations are where the luxury of resort living meets the call of the wild. Swap stories by the fireplace. Gaze at the stars from your private deck as you savor a glass of wine from our own vineyard. You’ll be comfy, carefree, and most of all, captivated. The only Pete Dye-designed bentgrass golf course in Northern California is right here at Carmel Valley Ranch, and no matter how you slice it (or hook it), this par-70 layout offers something for all players: tactical shots, dramatic elevation changes and incredible scenery. Our talented artisans add a unique twist to experiences at The Ranch—join them and hang out with horses, say hello to honeybees, greet our goats, and more.

Nice resort but service was very slow. Also be sure to take pictures of your room when you get to your room. We got a housekeeping charge for room damages that wasn’t during our stay because we didn’t inspect the room closely when we got there and was tired with a toddler.

We like the breakfast and dinner at the Valley Kitchen. The kids enjoy the one-hour complimentary golf driving range. The kids like the S'mores treat. Our suites are connected. Rooms are big with many sofas and rest area. All my family members are happy with our staying at Carmel Valley Ranch.

Fabulous place. The 500 acre Ranch was stunning, with lots of trails, trees, animals and other beautiful surroundings. The staff were top notch, they all went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. A truly magical setting. The rooms were rustic but lovely with upgraded touches. The food in the main restaurant was very good. Overall a place to visit for sure. Only 15 minutes from Carmel by the Sea.

Horrible experience. Room service told me to leave my food outside at night after done eating and press the button that signals I’m done with the dinner. I did just that but no one came to pick up the dishes outside my door. Later that evening several hours later, I needed something from my car and there were large raccoons right outside my door. Essentially trapping me inside my room. So I just stayed inside. When I woke up I looked outside and still no one had picked up my dinner from the night before. I would have been fine leaving the dishes inside. Secondly I turned on the fireplace and several hours later my wife was complaining of a headache because the fireplace was leaking gas. When I brought it up to the front desk it seemed as though they didn’t care and offered me 5000 loyalty points. Great!!!
