Carmel Valley Ranch has always been an escape with plenty of room to roam, to explore, to discover. Where people rekindle romances, reunite with friends and family, revive spirits, or simply get away and play. And these days, play is more important than ever. Our all-suite accommodations are where the luxury of resort living meets the call of the wild. Swap stories by the fireplace. Gaze at the stars from your private deck as you savor a glass of wine from our own vineyard. You’ll be comfy, carefree, and most of all, captivated. The only Pete Dye-designed bentgrass golf course in Northern California is right here at Carmel Valley Ranch, and no matter how you slice it (or hook it), this par-70 layout offers something for all players: tactical shots, dramatic elevation changes and incredible scenery. Our talented artisans add a unique twist to experiences at The Ranch—join them and hang out with horses, say hello to honeybees, greet our goats, and more.

We booked a last-minute spring break vacation at Carmel Valley Ranch with our two teenage kids and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The room was spacious and fit our family perfectly. Both the king bed and pull out sofa was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all of us.One of the highlights of our stay was exploring the beautiful property. We took the "Huff and Puff" hike and were treated to some breathtaking views along the way.But what truly made our stay memorable was meeting Jack on the ranch. He is an incredible, kind, and friendly young man who went above and beyond to help us wash our dog before returning to the room. He also shared some valuable wisdom about his working experience on the ranch with our teenagers. It's encounters like these that remind us of the goodness in people and make us appreciate the little things in life. Carmel Valley Ranch exceeded our expectations in every way. From the comfortable accommodations to the stunning surroundings and the friendly staff like Jack, we couldn't have asked for a better spring break getaway. The world needs more awesome humans like Jack.

We traveled here with a group of 40 and it was a lovely place to work and connect with our remote coworkers. The space is beautiful, there are plenty of activities for teams, and the food is great. Thea and her team make the planning and execution easy!

The entire stay was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly from the very beginning until the end. Our family will be back again but for a full week just to stay inside the resort. We plan to bring friends and family.

The rooms were very clean. Rooms indicated being sound proof and they definitely were not. Could here foot steps and music being played very clearly next door. For the cost of the facility, it should be as advertised and it was not.

Wonderful "wine and Equine" experience up at the Hilltop Corral. We began by being introduced to all the animals at the corral, then moved to a hilltop picnic table and sipped pinot noir with "Buttercup", one of the wonderful horses.
