A very nice place to stay

With the goal of playing golf in Portugal, I recently booked a one-bedroom studio apartment at the Onyria Quinta da Marinha boutique hotel. The studio is spacious, clean, and functional. The staff is friendly, courteous, and eager to provide a memorable experience for all travelers. Food is good although a little expensive compared to surrounding restaurants. I definitely recommend this hotel, although the golf course is lacking in maintenance.

Onyria Boutique Hotel Cascais

Great hotel with really spacious room for a family that had a partition wall so it felt like two rooms. Room and sheets changed every day, great bathroom stocked with molten brown showe gel. Breakfast was great and all staff very friendly. Great hotel and would definitely stay there again.

A great family destination!

We had a wonderful family week in this hotel, which caters so well for children's as well as adults' holiday needs. Whilst we enjoyed the spacious hotel room with terrace and extremely comfortable bed, the family (4 adults and 3 children) were able to have some extra facilities (including a washing machine) and space in a villa. The older children enjoyed the Kids' club (best yet they said) and all three made good use of the playground. The pool was a huge hit and we appreciated being able to easily access loungers without having to reserve them at dawn as has been the case in other hotels (also 4 or 5 star). Having bunk beds in the living space, however, wasn't ideal. The adults enjoyed the spa and treatments and we all enjoyed the breakfasts. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They really did go the extra mile and make us feel very welcome. The only negative comment I would make is that, whilst our dinner at the hotel was good, it was the most expensive of our holiday, so we didn't eat there again. With a brilliant pizzeria, a great fish restaurant overlooking the sea and a very good Portuguese restaurant all within a 20 minutes walk, there were excellent alternatives on offer.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area surrounded by trees and a golf course. Great spacious rooms and quiet! Particular thanks to Luiza on the front desk, very helpful in arranging a two hour extension to our checkout time

Can't wait to go back

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Onyria means dream, and that is quite fitting for our stay. Service was truly outstanding. We checked in late at night, so the hospitality director found us at breakfast to introduce himself. He gave us his contact to share activity/restaurant suggestions and said we could contact him anytime for reservations or anything else. The bedding was comfortable. Balcony was huge. Tub was huge. Breakfast was very nice in a beautiful setting. There were many options, but it was exactly the same every day. By day four, I was wishing they would switch some things out. Outdoor pool wasn't heated, so we opted for the paid indoor pool/saunas. We look forward to going back!
