I’m not sure if it’s because I’m an African American but I didn’t feel welcome. Couldn’t get in the room I requested, which was a double bed. Had to get into in a a single bed. My friend and I had to share a bed which is a guy and it wasn’t comfortable sharing a bed with another grown man. We were told a roll away bed will be sent to the room, then couple seconds later they told us they were out. After i was told about the bed, The guy at the front desk asked did I wanted him to find us another hotel. I didn’t give him any signs that I wanted to leave. I already paid $400+ and he wanted me to leave and pay another $400 somewhere else. I drove all the way from New Orleans for Easter and my birthday weekend and I felt unwelcome. Also I’m a Hilton Employee.

Stayed in 320. Lakeview Room. Very quiet area. Check in was easy and smooth. Enjoyed the lakeview. The negative is there is no refrig and it was to cost $25 to have one in the room! (No charge on our previous visits.) Pool area was nice and pool water was warm. Jacuzzi was not open! We were very disappointed as no one mentioned this to us as we checked in nor was there a note in the room. Service at the bar was just OK. Front desk staff assisted us with an Easter egg hunt in one section of lobby...VERY NICE!!! So, overall a very nice stay. Looking forward to our visit again in November but hoping Jacuzzi will be fixed or at least told of its condition!!

Celebration is one of the best City around Orlando and the hotel is located at the best place at Celebration ‘s lake. The hotel is good and the view of the lake and the city from the bedroom is fantastic. My only issue was the noise during the night, even turning off the air conditioning the noise was not a pleasure to sleep (kind of small generator running from the “staff room” at second floor).

This hotel deserves to be rated excellent because of its beautiful decor. Everything is really lovely, luxurious and exquisitely chosen. The rest doesn't always live up to the promises of the decor. Our room was large and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. The bathroom is fine, albeit a bit old-fashioned. Shower curtains in this day and age should not longer be a fixture, particularly when the bathtub is nothing to write home about. Like in most American hotels, there is no hand-held shower. It's overhead, the stream is wide and can't be regulated, the shower head cannot be moved to a different position. If you're a woman who'd rather not get her hair wet, you're in trouble. There was no bathing cap in the bathroom. I had to ask the maid the next day. Good bathroom products but in a limited quantity. There is no shower gel, so when my husband finished with the shampoo, I was lucky I had brought my own small bottle. No mini bar. We had an odd corner window that gave straight onto the next room's balcony, and I mean inches away. I'm sure the other guests appreciated... Beware booking through a third party! Anything you may want to challenge after that - room selection, cost of room, whatever - will be met with the same answer from the front desk "because you booked through a third party...." You get the distinct feeling that if you book that way, you become definitely second rate in the eyes of the staff. The barmaid couldn't care less. We had half an hour before dinner at a nearby restaurant and wanted to have a drink. There were only two other guests at the bar and they had already been served. We had to wait until the barmaid finished chatting. Then she stopped preparing our drinks to have a longish conversation with someone who apparently had a lot of questions. By the time she had finished she had forgotten what I wanted. All in all we had ten minutes left for our drinks and she left out the mint in the Florida mule. My husband's cooked breakfast was very good. I've had a better continental breakfast in a 3-star. One good muffin, a large puddle (?) of very thick cloying yoghurt and two carrot mini muffins (one of them black-bottomed) left me eating only the muffin. American coffee can be a challenge for Europeans used to a stronger stuff, but this one was particularly unspeakable. It was literally brown water. One ray of sunshine: the valet (the bald gentleman) at the entrance is really really very nice.

Love staying at this hotel! The service is great--especially the bellhops! The restaurant is really good! The rooms are a little dated--but they keep them up nicely and the décor is really cool. I was a little disappointed at the housekeepers: They didn't seem to check the Kleenex or toilet paper--that required a couple of calls to the front desk (I was especially disappointed since I left a nice tip for the house keepers each day). Otherwise, very pleasant. Parking is an issue in Celebration, so valet is a must! There's a Starbucks within a few feet of the hotel that opens at 6--very convenient! Enjoy!
