The hotel was disappointing, the room overlooked the lake but had a palm tree placed in front of it. The balcony was small. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate but the weekly rate it should have been a lot more comfortable and plush. The service in the restaurant for breakfast was an absolute disaster. Our orders for breakfast were always given clearly but it never once came together, tea without milk, not made with boiling water!!! Toast arrived ten minutes before butter and marmalade, and so it went on every day until we gave up and just had a bowl of fruit, they ran out of yoghurt, breakfast was included but we ate out towards the end of the week, it was just too stressful.

Celebration was designed to create a "nirvana" in Orlando. It's almost creepy and weird but the hotel itself is very good. Rooms were nice, bed was comfortable and the property very nice. One of the things that I really like about Marriott properties over Hiltons is that their internet is always fast and reliable. You don't find that at Hiltons. This wold be an excellent but it's overpriced.

We last stayed here 4 years ago, and weren't impressed. This visit was perfect. Everyone working here was great. We had a lake view room with a king size bed. This is a great location as its still close to all the parks, but you don't feel like you are trapped in the "Disney Bubble" and can come back here and relax after a long day. I love that there is free parking on the side street and you can walk to many different shops and restaurants.

This hotel is off the beaten path, offering solitude and sanctuary from the touristy options. Sits on a lake, it’s small and quaint, rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and clean. I had a corner room with 2 large windows, no balcony. Small bar in lobby but again, cozy. I really liked it for a change of pace. Nice little town with lots of offerings with in walking distance.

This hotel has all of the ingredients and potential to be a quality place to stay. The furnishing were comfortable & the linens were plush. The room was quiet. Unfortunately there were too other many issues with the condition of the hotel that are not up to the Autograph Collection standard. There were also short comings & procedural issues with the check in experience which will stop us from recommending this hotel. Here are the key issues we encountered: 1. Check in process is less than stellar with customer service & attention to detail missing. -We booked here for a medical visit at the nearby hospital & had a long stay (6 nights). We are priority members & had requested an early check-in (2pm) because of preparation necessary for the medical procedure. We checked in & headed up to our room only to find out that the entire hall was being renovated. The room that was assigned to us actually had orange cones blocking the door! When we returned to the lobby, the front desk clerk looked rather annoyed stating that she had not been communicated this information. We spoke to he about the medical necessity but she simply told us that there were no rooms ready & that we would have to wait. They then stored our luggage. When we finally did get our room no courtesy was offered/given for the previous check in mishap. We were assigned a room that was at the end of the hall & literally was the farthest away from the elevator possible. The location was not optimum for a medical surgery patient which unfortunately illustrates how she put no thought or care into our room selection. This one staff member with her less-than-helpful attitude & lack of attention to detail & customer service was our 1st impression of this hotel. 2. Renovations - Rooms are being assigned to guests in halls where renovations are taking place. Why are these being offered as available & booked & how can full fare be charged for rooms when the hall is filled with construction cones, ladders, fans and wet paint? (See pics) 3. Halls are not kept clean/tidy - every day, every time we passed there were several dirty food trays & dishes/glasses on the furniture in the halls. These were not picked up on a timely basis. In addition the very large linen cart & big pile of dirty linens was stationed the entire day in the middle of our hall. That was it regular place and it was only removed in the evening. There was even a roll way bed parked in the hall next to our room for an entire day. The hall lighting was designed to be dim but it also covers up a lot of dirt. The hall smelled very musty/sour & there was a thick coat of dust covering all of the hall furnishings & decor. Thiese are ongoing procedural problems & not the standard that should be maintained for an Autograph Collection hotel. (see pics) 4. Rooms are in need of upgrades. We have no complaints about the bed & furnishing which all looked in good condition. The problem is the walls & doors have scuffs & marks and look worn, the molding & baseboards are cracked & peeling, & the bathrooms cramped. They need to be renovated. 5. Other small things...- it is the small things that demonstrate whether a hotel maintains quality standards & is attentive to detail. 1-Twice during our stay our room was left without the full set of linens. 2-The guest services buttons on our room phone were inoperable (which is ironic). 3-Although the main door lock worked, the security latch would not shut because the door hinge had loosened not allowing it to properly align & engage. 6. Hotel lobby - the layout of the lobby is designed to be cosy & intimate but there are just too many things in one room. The too small check in area, waiting/seating area, bar area, AND the hotel’s only restaurant are all crammed into one main room. Some of the restaurant tables are literally in front of the main entrance door. In the evenings they add MORE & move furniture to have a musical group play. On Sunday the breakfast buffet is literally in the hall where guests must pass to get to the elevators. SUGGESTION- move the restaurant to one of the conference room areas (which is closer to the kitchen) & leave that lobby area for the bar & general seating. You will probably increase restaurant bookings (because no one wants to have dinner in the middle of a lobby), increase bar traffic (because there could be more seating) & most importantly..make the lobby & traffic flow much more functional. Aside from the check-in proces & procedural problems we must note that there ARE some very good staff in other areas. The valet and bell boy staff are so courteous and friendly. We also encountered maintenance and security staff which were great.
