The Charleston Place

The service is OUTSTANDING!!! First let me say from my reviews that I have a very high expectation from a luxury stay experience . Here's how it starts long travel day over the Holidays in route to here. When I arrive its very confusing as numerous one way streets and MapQuest leads you to a side of the hotel that you assume is the front but you can't enter nor can you turn towards it. In frustration I call the front desk. I get the most calming sweet woman on the other end of the phone that asks and addresses me by name that says please calm "I've Got You" . She proceeds to guide me through a maze of turns and streets and alleys that will lead me to the front of the hotel. As I start to arrive at the hotel a bellman runs to the middle of the street to guide me towards the entry way. As I pull up two additional bellman race to open our car doors. Walking straight out of the entry is a amazing woman by the name of Shruti Mohan (director of front office) (aka ANGEL) she greets with open arms and a hug and say we've got everything from here . The front desk is awaiting your arrival. As I approach the front desk and am concerned about a possible dinner option based on its a Holiday and late. I'm told we will make room for you and make sure its everything you expect. This was just the start The level of service in this beautiful place never slipped. This place delivered a ten out of ten in my book and assures I will not only return to Charleston but never stay anywhere but Charleston Place.

From the moment we came into the restaurant we were treated with amazing hospitality. ANGEL greeted us how served us JOHN and Andrew met our needs. The food was simply amazing. The atmosphere was over and above. We enjoyed our experience and we will be back.

Contrary to what was stated, pool and gym were all closed; complete lack of transparency as to that fact. Major disappointment given the price.

Went for NYE with my small pup and sister. We were greeted by a professional front desk person, Lauren She kept us informed as we waited for the availability of the second room. And throughout out stay, always greeting us by name and suggested activities. The concierge staff was very welcoming and kept the area clean and always full of goodies. Must not forget the bellmen and front door staff. Bottom line, there was no weak link in the staff. All ready to help with a smile and a greeting. A wonderful stay.

Was greeted by the Bellman Ben Edwards. From check in to helping us with our bags to the hotel to giving us great information about the hotel and surrounding area. It was the perfect way to start a vacation with such a king, helpful, knowledgeable person. Truly a professional.
