The Charleston Place

Dear Manager, I wanted to take a moment to personally recognize Bessie, one of your doormen at The Charleston Place, and let you know what a wonderful impression he made on us during our stay. Bessie was always there with a warm smile, a kind word, and a genuine willingness to help. He was incredibly accommodating and consistently went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. One small gesture that really stood out to us was when he offered to reheat the pizza we had purchased earlier in the day. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected thing to do. While it may seem like a small gesture, it demonstrated the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a guest feel truly welcomed. Bessie represents the very best of customer service. His friendliness, kindness, and attention to guests did not go unnoticed, and he truly made our experience at The Charleston Place even more enjoyable. I hope you will take a moment to recognize Bessie for the outstanding job he does. Employees like him are what make a hotel special, and The Charleston Place is very fortunate to have him. Our recent stay at The Charleston Place was absolute perfection. We booked a brand-new suite with butler service and Club Lounge access, and the experience was flawless. Alessandro helped us with check-in and Eric helped us with check-out. The suite itself was immaculate, incredibly spacious, and beautiful.The amenities are wonderful, including a pristine pool, but the service is what truly shines. The butler staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and genuinely cared for with love. A huge thank you to Paul, Lizzie, Mitsiry, Abshilak, August and the entire butler team for their exceptional hospitality. The food and drinks were excellent. We dined at the restaurant featuring Chef Daniel Humm, and Chef Joe even came out to greet us personally, which was a spectacular highlight. In the Club Lounge, the bartenders, Teresa and Dan, took amazing care of us. My one criticism is that valet fees should be included in Suite price. We would stay here over and over again.

Chris at Thoroughbred Club was amazing!

I took my daughter to Afternoon Tea at The Thoroughbred Club for her birthday. Everything was superb. Chris was fantastic, he took wonderful care of us and made my daughter feel extra special. All of the employees we encountered did. The tea was great (try the coconut!) and the food tower was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the butterfly lemonade and her food tower as well. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely birthday for my 5 year old.
