The Charleston Place

I love the Charleston Place! It has become my home away from home. I love how the staff takes pride in taking care of their hotel. Every detail is taken care of to make this hotel pristine and a place you will fall in love with. I also love how the staff goes out of their way to make your stay one you will never forget. We just celebrated my birthday and anniversary there and Kate, whom we met months ago during one of our stays, welcomed us as if she were welcoming us back home. Just the fact that she remembered us, made us feel so special and she spoiled us our entire stay to make sure we had the best birthday and anniversary. I have stayed in many hotels in Charleston and The Charleston Place is THE PLACE for me!

We had a phenomenal stay at The Charleston Place! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. The bellmen, Roosevelt and Patrick, were especially wonderful. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, and it made our time in Charleston even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Pros Prime location within walking distance of major attractions. On-site luxury shopping options that cover many needs. Well-equipped fitness center for a full workout. Beautiful, elegantly appointed rooms with comfortable amenities. Cons Dining options require planning; if you don’t eat at the hotel, navigating nearby restaurants can be a challenge if you’re unfamiliar with the area. On busy nights or peak season, nearby parking and neighborhood crowds can affect convenience. Summary If you want a centrally located, upscale stay with excellent facilities and easy access to Charleston’s top sights, The Charleston Place is a strong choice. Just plan your meals and local navigation ahead of time if you don’t intend to dine at the hotel.

My first time to Charleston S.C. And loved it so much! We stayed at The Charleston Place right in the middle of history. The hotel was so beautiful with the marble floors and the double floating staircases at the entryway to the second floor. Sophisticated architecture. and shopping and so many restaurants within walking distance. We took a horse buggy tour and was delighted with our horse and tour guide. The sights at night walking back to the hotel after a dinner out on side streets were lighted and very safe. Be sure to watch your step on the cobblestone streets but the charm definitely takes you back in time. It was such a treasure and wonderful memories. I will be back.
