The Restoration is in a good location. The place needs a little work. The pool is basically a dip pool. It’s nice to have The Watch rooftop bar to spend time at in between tours, eating & shopping. We had a wonderful time.

perfect girls getaway. booked the 3 bedroom for 8 women to celebrate a 50th. the suite was huge, comfy and had pretty much everything we needed. the staff was incredibly attentive and they were ultimately the reason I would recommend so highly. the basket of goodies each morning was a treat! the shuttle driver was awesome! He was full of ideas to make our stay more enjoyable. loved the daily happy hour w wine and cheeses, the fridge w plenty of non alcoholic bevvies. The Pool was way too hot (103 degrees) when we arrived but hoping that was an oversight because it was much better the next day. still heated but not too hot. small shallow pool but just enough for a dip and a chat. we didn’t use our private terrace because it was hot out and there was no shade. ideas for improvement….more bath towels all around, umbrellas on the terrace and by the pool. Summer in Charleston is brutally hot. shade a must. the counters in the bathrooms were abnormally high. almost needed a step stool to brush teeth and the lighting was lousy. the little packets of coffee were not nearly enough to for 8. I think for a unit that size the hotel should increase the supply of all those extras. Anyway overall we loved our visit and all the kind people we met that worked there.

Amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Location, decor, service were nothing short of perfect. Cristian and his staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. We can't say enough about our visit.

Everything was excellent at The Restoration in the Historic District in Charleston. This hotel has so much charm and everyone was extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast baskets outside of our door each morning were so much fun!

Excellent friendly accommodating staff, signature suite was lovely, complimentary breakfast delivered to your room door, complimentary happy hour, and ride to and from the hotel. Convenient location in old town within walking distance to attractions and restaurants.
