Wentworth Mansion

From the moment we arrived in the private parking area until we left the next day it was a 5 star experience. Complementary glass of champagne at checkin, a brief tour of the mansion with history on the way to our room, our Garden Suite with stocked refrigerator with a selection of beverages, happy hour and the opportunity to visit with other guest, assistance during our stay, the breakfast in the Circa 1886 restaurant and sadly our checkout. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The location of the property was great. We decided not to bring our dog but now wish we should have. Many "dog friendly" establishments are dog "tolerant "....not the case here. I witnessed a true dog friendly environment.....next time Pippa will get to go.

Take a step back into the history and elegance of Charleston, one of the most beautiful cities in the world! The Wentworth Mansion has somehow combined the sheer beauty and history of one of the city’s spectacular mansions with the modern amenities that patrons have come to expect. I loved the way that Brian and Tristan phrased it during our check in tour, the modern amenities are “cleverly disguised” within the beauty of the elegant mansion rooms and furniture. The service here is another level of astounding; Brian and Tristan welcomed us and intrigued us with their warm and vibrant personalities and gave us a marvelous history lesson while showing us the delightful offerings at the mansion. The sunroom boasts coffee, tea, and pastries all morning, which changes to lemonade and iced tea in the afternoon. Wine and hors d’ovres in the early evening, and port, brandy, and cognac at night. After having breakfast at circa 1886, I urge you to dine on property as well. It was magnificent. This was our first visit to The Wentworth Mansion but it will definitely not be our last! It is perfection!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Wentworth Mansion. Brian was so incredibly sweet and hospitable. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed cocktail hour in the sunroom. We had great service here, Mark and the other workers were always attentive. We will be back!

First of all I don’t have enough words to describe Wentworth Mansion,superb one of them ha! It was as if you had been transported back in time, original architecture decor etc the stained glass 😃 I mean just everything about the place. You have to go & see it to believe it. Was my husband’s birthday surprise, the main reason for me was to have a fireplace in the room! I spoke to Tristan on the telephone and let me tell you, a whole next level of Customer Service 🙌 Tristan took the time to hear me and delivered 💯 just by talking on the phone I was already sold & couldn’t wait to go. Thank you ever so much for all you do Tristan 🤗 So we finally arrived, ample parking you don’t have to worry about a thing. Owen what can I say, was absolutely amazing kind, engaging, told us the history of the place while he helped us to our room and it was a pleasure to see him throughout our stay, he made it feel like family … with the inclusion of Will and front desk person who checked us in sorry I forget 😞 These few gentlemen did theee finest job ever, we sure felt at home at ease and overall HAPPY this is how they made us feel. Kudos!!!!🤩😍 Literally everything was perfect Including the restaurant for our birthday dinner. They had my husband’s name on the menu I was pleasantly surprised the food was fantastic. Last but not least Anastasia (Anna) in the breakfast room was simply delightful 🫶 Your coffee btw ahhhmazing 😋 I could go on and on about Wentworth Mansion❣️ it’s a must see and stay … Fabulous Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our stay completely and utterly memorable. Romantic, long weekend birthday trip to Wentworth was outstanding! Food, spa, service, and room were all great! We loved the included breakfast, and taking our pastries with us for daytime snacks. Everything about the place is an indulgence and worth it!
