We just came back from a week at the 4 Seasons and had a wonderful trip. I don't think we've ever stayed in a hotel where the staff was so genuinely concerned that we have a great time. Kudos to the management team and all of the employees. We loved our room and the various amenities. We also rented a car and went to lots of good restaurants off property. Three suggestions to improve a great hotel: They have a wonderful coffee machine in the lobby in the morning. Makes fresh ground coffee, espresso, etc. Sometimes the machine is removed at around 9 am. Why not leave it out at least until the end of breakfast in the restaurant? It is a very nice benefit--please don't cut it short! The golf course is very nice and, I think, fairly priced. That said, the practice range balls are the cheapest, hardest balls you will ever find. It discouraged me from paying the fee to just use the range. An upgrade would not cost much. Finally, maps on Nevis aren't very detailed. Would be great if the concierge had printed directions to some of the top restaurants/attractions. Would have been helpful to us. Again, though, a great stay and we look forward to returning. This was my 4th trip to the Four Seasons Nevis. This property never disappoints. The staff, Food, Service and Golf Course are all top notch. I feel safe, valued and people seem genuinely happy that I am there. The new Christophe Harbor makes this remote island an easier get to and the drive from the airport to the harbor is beautiful. I will continue to patronize this property.

My wife and I stayed at the FS in Nevis at the end of August with our 3 kids. Can't speak highly enough about the transfer process, you can see the FS staff waiting for you at baggage claim and they whisk you away to the boat transfer, which is so quick and easy. First impression of the resort wasn't great as there was a massive crane parked at the pier (they were building an extension to the pier at the time). The lady who greeted us barely smiled and managed to ruin the birthday surprise I had planned for my wife. The suite we were placed in was at the very end of the property, next to the golf course. It quickly became obvious how much construction was going on at the resort. My first view outside of our very expensive suite was of 30 workers building a stone wall and walkway. I called the front desk and asked for a room change, the best they could offer (2 days later) was a suite next to the adult pool (probably not ideal for young children who aren't allowed at that pool!) Our week was a lot of fun all in all, the kids enjoyed the Kids for All Seasons in the morning so we could relax and we'd all hang out on the beach or at the family pool in the afternoon. We ate breakfast and lunch at the resort most days, with a couple lunch trips down the beach to Sunshine's. The best restaurant at the FS is definitely Mango's, super friendly staff and the food was amazing. (Our top dinner off property was at the Gin Trap, don't miss it!) We took the kids on the guided monkey tour one day, but the "guide" was awful; she seemed bored to be there, never spoke, and only took enjoyment from have a golf cart that was way faster than all the guests. We managed to borrow some golf carts another day (after the lady in the pro shop was super rude about it) and went to explore the golf course for more monkeys, which the kids loved. Looking back, I'd say we all had fun, but this resort doesn't meet the standard of a typical Four Seasons. The staff, for the most part, were not friendly and seemed to not want to be there. We won't be coming back.

They have a great location and the beach is fine but the resort is clearly past it's useful prime. The place in long overdue for a makeover. The prices charged should reflect an A+ resort. The Four Seasons Nevis is average at best, equivalent at best to Jersey Shore Marriott. Staff was terrific and probably the one saving grace. Prices in bar and poolside bar are ridiculous for the food not to mention an 18% service charge on everything. What the heck? Mango restaurant on the property is very nice and worth the price. Lovely golf course which is well maintained but overly expensive to play; in the week we were there only saw 1 foursome playing (and we had a room facing the course!). $200 per round plus $85 to rent clubs and who knows what for shoes. Maybe if they made it 1/2 that price more people would play. A shame to see such a nice course just sit there unused. Apparently there is new ownership which will be investing some money into the renovation of the resort. I hope so as it is in dire need. BTW....they get you for everything so don't assume anything is free. As in the shuttle from St. Kitts via boat, the water sports etc.
