You will have an excellent stay in an specific provencal athmosphere. The Restaurant is excellent reflecting especially local products and tradition. I will come back to the Bonne Etape whenever it is possible for me.

You don't expect to find a Hotel with a famous Michelin 1 stared chief out there in the middle of nowhere, but there it is! A very nice chief that runs this Hotel and a Restaurant and his mum and dad is still around as well. They also have a 6 000 square meter big garden with plants they use in the kitchen. There is also a swimmingpool.

Typically ornate R&C hotel, lobby, room and dining. Good welcome and baggage assistance, bathroom in need of modernisation. Staff all very good. Adjoining Bistro shares same chef and kitchen - chef is the fourth generation owner of the hotel. Ambience as expected, and a peaceful hotel. Car parking excellent and secure. Breakfast buffet quality good, but limited choice (cold only) and overpriced.

We would rate our stay at Bonne Etap as one of our most enjoyable across all of our travels. The staff were great without being overbearing. The hotel is quaint, quiet and very comfortable. We ate at both the bistro and the gastronomic (Michellein Star) restaurant and found the food delicious at both. The restaurant is quite expensive, but the quality is exceptional - in the top 3 meals we have ever eaten so well worth the price. Chef Jany is clearly a genius!

I am in agreement with one of the other recent reviews in that being a Relais & Chateau property, we were expecting a little more. Having said that, the room was nice, clean and we spent a couple of relaxing hours at the outdoor pool. Had we not eaten so much the previous few days and knowing we had a month of French food coming up, we decided not to go to the michelin restaurant and opted for the hotel bistro. Perhaps we should have gone for the other restaurant as the reviews seem very good but we really enjoyed the Bistro and a very nice touch was for Jany Gleize the owner and chef to come in and introduce himself. No real complaints, just that I think we have stayed in many other places that are better value.
