Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting amongst the cotswolds countryside. Spacious rooms offering wonderful views of the gardens and hills. Delicious English breakfast served piping hot. The horse box restaurant serves bistro style food. I recommend the sumptuous burger and skinny fries!! also the creamy delicious Jerusalem artichoke soup with crusty cheese toasty!! The spa offers warm and lovely relaxing treats. This hotel has a very very very hot outdoor pool but would be complimented with having an indoor one. The staff are all courteous and very helpful. We are coming back!!!! And thank you all for a memorable stay.

We had been lokking forward to this for some time. We found it hard to book our voucher as refurbishment had been taking place . But eventually they let us come in before the voucher expired!! The welcome was not 5 star. The service was adequate by the afternoon teas was rather ordinary - the sandwich bread was not very fresh , and the cakes were uninspiring. The grounds and the environment is really beautiful, but we left thinking the whole experience might have been better.

Our family had spa treatments, whilst on hol, lovely. We thought lunch would make a nice ending... Service very slow, but almost empty. 2 out of 4 adult meals came, 1 being warm soup. We waited, not wanting to complain, then started, mid way through, asking "where's the rest?" Their reply, "we thought yours were starters" No, I wish they'd asked, as other restaurants do, we wanted to eat together. Waitress answer, "not my fault, I didn't take order" Happy to pay well for good food, this was over priced & it was like the Horsebox ladies were doing you a favour, serving you, pretentious!

I booked 3 rooms one for two nights and 2 for one night I was disappointed that one room I originally booked I was told could not fit a travel cot in I had to pay an upgrade which I did but was not happy about to be then given a room with stairs in it who give a room that has stairs to reach the bathroom when you have a toddler in !!! Not suitable in any way makes a stay not relaxing to start the other issues were we had a meal on the first night and it was poor service was also poor I was worried what the food would be like the following day when the rest of the family arrived breakfast on first night not the best poor service and this also carried on to the following day I feel that the hotel was disorganised in areas and not very child friendly

This resort is not cheap but we feel is worth every cent. Beautiful converted manor house and historic out buildings. Outstanding Spa, Restaurant and Brasserie. We stayed here for three nights but wished it had been longer. Ideal and luxurious base for discovering the Cotswolds. High quality everything and the staff were all locals so their advice was very valuable. Cannot fault this establishment. Will definitely go back.
