Shanti Maurice, A Nira Resort

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything about our stay was brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and the grounds are simply gorgeous. Our room was at the far end of the hotel which suited us perfectly as we needed the walk after meals (there is a buggy service if needed though). The food is of a really high standard - we ate most nights at Stars because the setting is so lovely but we tried the Rum Shed which very good too. The Sunset Cocktail Party was a nice touch and very enjoyable. I had a couple of Spa treatments and they were excellent and we used the Spa area too. There is a schedule of daily activities and although I only managed one it was good and interesting. The staff at the Shanti are very special, nothing was too much trouble and the service was outstanding. Little touches such as knowing your names were really appreciated. They are all a credit to the hotel but Amal deserves a special mention. It was my birthday during our stay and I was treated like a Queen all day. Amal liaised with Mevin to decorate our room and it was wonderful - I felt quite emotional. Our evening meal was also fabulous and I was thoroughly spoilt. Mauritius is a very special place with special people and, if ever we return, it would be to the Shanti Maurice.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and flawlessly managed getaway. The food throughout the resort was outstanding. Each restaurant delivered fresh, beautifully prepared dishes, and the variety of cuisine made every meal something to look forward to. The spa was equally impressive, offering a tranquil setting and treatments of exceptional quality that left us feeling completely restored. Shanti Maurice is the kind of place you immediately want to return to, not only because of its stunning setting but also because of the people who make it extraordinary. The whole team made us feel incredibly well looked after throughout our visit. A special mention must go to Amal, who elevated our stay from wonderful to unforgettable. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and handled every request with remarkable care and professionalism.

We spent an amazing two weeks at Shanti Maurice in Mauritius. The hotel is situated on a very large and beautifully maintained property, and even when it is fully booked it offers a true sense of privacy. Everyone feels as if they have their own private beach. As the hotel faces west, guests can enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. The gardens and grounds are exceptionally well kept. The Spa is outstanding, offering excellent yoga sessions and truly wonderful massages. The cuisine is exceptional, with five international menus and very high culinary standards. Every morning you will find a perfectly crunchy baguette at breakfast, and we enjoyed the highest quality sashimi during an evening dinner. We felt that we received highly personalised service throughout our stay. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. The hotel director greets guests personally every morning at breakfast. The sales team, Elodie and Deeya, were extremely helpful, and the restaurant team were consistently kind and always smiling. Our personal valet, Amal, was absolutely amazing and took perfect care of us! The hotel is located in a more remote part of the island compared to some other resorts. If you are planning to play golf or explore Mauritius, it is best to rent a car. We had an unforgettable time at Shanti Maurice and would like to express our sincere thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special.

Everyone in hotel is so nice , thr place ia very quiet and peaceful. Villa is great and privacy is high Food is very well cooked and delicious. Kanen was very helpful and assisting once needed , very big thanks to this man for every support he provided.

Shanti maurice Resort and Spa ist the Paradise on Earth! We were taken to our Suite by Mr. Mahendara and from then on was every day fantastisch!! We spontan 13 nichts on Shanti.M. and it was too short for this fantastisch Resort. We regierten why we hadn't booked longer. Shanti Maurice has fantastisch vielseitig everywhere. Euch member of Shanti.M Team, hast as an objektive making our holday feel at home and creatin unforgettableholiday unforgettable experience at the Shanti M. Resort and Spa. The all Team and hotel Managemet were very nice. We enjoyed every moment. Breakfast was very good. The Wellness and Spa treatment was unforgettable. We have stayed in many 5 star Resorts all over the World but we have neuer had such exzellent Ayverda tretment!! My spezialisiert thanks go to Dr. Avinosh R. Trwort.
